I am really disgusted at the amount of swearing on a lot of threads. This is a website about being MOTHERS, the highest calling you can have in life. Please clean up your language and find a better way to express yourself.

Even really great mothers swear when the DC'S are in bed.

TheArmadillo · 18/05/2007 21:04

argh I hate this making assumptions about 'mothers'. I had a baby not a personality transplant.

Motherhood and sainthood are different things don't you know.

Flamesparrow · 18/05/2007 21:04

no, piss off.

(You know you all wanted to)

BreeVanDerCamp · 18/05/2007 21:05

Lynette

Speak for yourself.

I remain yours in dubious friendship.

Bree.

LoveAngel · 18/05/2007 21:05

I was going to post 'sorry I don't think this is the right site for you' but I've decided on 'What the fuck has it go to do with you'?

BreeVanDerCamp · 18/05/2007 21:06

They appear more tolerant on this site, should we move??

BreeVanDerCamp · 18/05/2007 21:06

Fuck me sideways the OP was serious.

lulumama · 18/05/2007 21:07

it is a parenting forum, not just for mums

and it is a place we can talk about stuff other than parenting

as mums, we are still allowed to lose our cool, and swear and be cross and irritated...becoming a mum does not automatically bestow a halo upon you

swearing is expressive, adn when used in context, immensely satistfying

doesn;t make me any less of a mother, a person or a woman

Bubble99 · 18/05/2007 21:07

That feckin' bat.
