Afternoon all. Lovely day here after early rain.

We have got the car back, yay! But unfortunately because the fucking tosser was uninsured it had to go through our insurance, and in order for the car to be released we had to pay the excess of £600. Reading through the small print the excess is covered if the accident wasn't our fault and the other driver was uninsured, but we have to claim that back. No doubt they'll try to wriggle out of it.

Then there's the no claims bonus. It is protected, but what's the betting our premium will be massively increased when it's due for renewal? We haven't even received any forms from the insurance company yet. This is going to take months. All for sitting minding our own business while a fucking great tractor passed by!
