And to be fair Helen has the blackcurrant ice cream so it looks like you might have to do a tour. In fact, I'll join you for that one Grin

Heard Need You Tonight by INXS on the radio at the weekend. Not heard it for ages and it was a favourite of mine back in the day I wonder why. So I downloaded an INXS greatest hits album and have had that on in the car. Bloody brilliant. Also just watched a couple of videos - Need You Tonight and New Sensation. I almost feel young again.

Night all x

I have finished work now.

LetUsPrey · 18/07/2017 07:52

Morning wenches.

Now you say that Wicked, I think I had an INXS VHS too! Certainly rings a bell. I know I have a couple of their albums on actual vinyl in the loft.

Helen - we seem to have got a picture of you faceplanting on Athos although you've been airbrushed out

Gorgeous sunny day here

Morning wenches.

It is shingles & very unconfortable according to DD. I was an appalling mother & went out for the day with FancyMan, got home late & DD was still awake. Went to bed too late & am knackered this morning

ApricotCrush · 18/07/2017 11:51

Morning! Another lovely day so I'm searching around for more washing.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 18/07/2017 12:22

Poor DD Fancy Sad Hope you had a good time with Fancyman Wink

Feeling quite lazy today, been off to the town inbreed capital and bought essentials such as rosé wine and strawberries Smile

Hope all wenches have a good day Smile

Yes, why do you put a plastic tub in the kitchen zink? Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/07/2017 19:02

LetUs it's amazing what you can do with photoshop isn't it?

Wicked so you can easily carry the washing up water outside and throw it over the flowerbeds (thus watering the plants AND making the pests feel v. unwell at the same time)

LetUsPrey · 18/07/2017 19:59

Currently helping niece celebrate her graduation.

Jamie looks hot in that picture better in action

Back later

Ah, kitchen sinks. For many years I didn't use a bowl as my sink was quite small. However, when I had a refurb the sink was bigger and I now do use a bowl. A bigger sink uses more water and we're on a water meter. As Helen says, you can use the water in the garden, or to chuck down the waste disposal. Also, you don't damage the sink with the cutlery or break crockery if you drop it. You can also rinse the washing up down the side of the bowl, thus keeping the water clean for longer. All in all, I prefer a bowl, although I know this is an emotive subject. Grin

Off to watch the last ever episode of Ripper Street. Sad

FancyFancy · 18/07/2017 21:15

AND THE IMPORTANT NEWS - A THUNDERSTORM!!!!!!
the whole sky is lighting up & the rain is hammering down Smile

We had a lovely day thanks ww

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 18/07/2017 21:27

Oh fancy - I'm so pleased for you!!! Flowers Wine Grin

currently burning cooking tea

LetUsPrey · 18/07/2017 21:31

I recall my sister questioning why we didn't have a washing up bowl. This however was whilst I was in the midst of anaphylactic shock, we were waiting for the ambulance, I was lying on the living room floor about to be sick (hence the bowl search) and starting to lose consciousness, so not the best time for her to be shouting from the kitchen in disbelief "you don't have a washing up bowl?! Where is it?!" Grin quite funny now I look back on it, and I do remember thinking at the time WTF?

We don't have one now either

Hope DD is feeling better soon Fancy

Thank you wenches Smile

Yikes letus Shock sounds terrifying.

DD seems a bit better today. She had a brief nap before dinner & said she slept properly with no disturbances, so fingers crossed she's on the mend.

Just saw some fabulous forked lightning and earlier the storm passed directly overhead. Poor FancyCat was caught outside until DS noticed her outside his window. She is very soggy, but fortunately thunder does not concern her at all #hardcore

LetUsPrey · 18/07/2017 21:51

Where's my thunderstorm?! Angry
