I've been watching Riviera today, downloaded from Sky Atlantic. It's bloody good. Julia Stiles - love her - is fantastic and it's great to see a drama headed by a woman.

I had a birthday lunch with mum and then my mum and my sis and her family came over for cake and coffee (they live in the house next to me). My sis really enjoyed the cappuccino from my new coffee machine and I also introduced her to Pimms which she really liked as well.

We're in the restaurant waiting for food. The wine seems to have gone to my head. 😂

I got mascara, lipstick and eyebrow pencil from Boots, not my normal stuff but ok (£27 😩) but they hadn't got my eyeshadow or foundation shade so have had to do without.

And I've burnt my face and can't cover it up. Also I haven't got my magnifying mirror so it's guesswork. 🙄 Bit of a disarster dahling! At least I've got nice teeth!

Yup The general consensus is that if I drink, I get giggly, go quiet and then fall asleep. So frankly, why bother? Esp as I don't enjoy the whole slightly spaced out/vertigo feeling it gives me.

Anyway, We are dressed, fed, and have had a mega lego tidy-up I can see carpet! (It needs to be hoovered ) But I can see carpet that hasn't seen the light of day for months a little while. out for family play date/lunch today. Weather's looking a bit meh after yesterday's sunshine

Sunshine here which by the time the washing is ready will no doubt have buggered off. That is the peak of my excitement for today, except for watching last week's Poldark tonight. We can't seem to get to watch it during the week. By the time DH is downstairs and ready to watch, it's too late to start watching it because of DS1. Not used to these programmes that are more or less an hour long because there's no adverts to whizz through

I should go for a shower and get dressed and crack on with the day.
