I am having circular arguments with an ongoing freelance job. I am losing the will to live, and thinking about that bottle of rum in the kitchen. Sadly I have more work to do still, plus school run and play date, So no drowning of sorrows is allowed... I shall have lunch instead (and then hang washing up) and come back later to see what response I get to my latest email attempting to break out of the circular argument... assuming anyone responds.

Also hope Helen has managed to deal with the numpties and hasn't had to break into the rum yet. I spoke to someone yesterday who was querying payment of an invoice. Could we pay it yet? Checked through file, checked on computer. Can't find invoice. Phone them back this morning and explain. Oh, should I send you the invoice? They've never actually sent us the invoice! Gave her my email address, spelled it out and everything. Email not arrived. I'm going to email tomorrow because I can't face speaking to her again.

I'm so glad I'm not still at work having to deal with idiots sort out all these problems.

Dentist was successful, I now have three lovely new teeth and can smile again without feeling I have to cover my mouth with my hand.

I have nothing to report other than I have been working out of the office, with a much longer commute. With impeccable timing I am away for the weekend - a 2 hour drive away so tomorrow will be even longer

'American Gods' is the adaptation of Neil Gaimans' book. I've only seen the 1st episode, but it's delightfully wierd and wonderful - though almost cartoonishly gory in places. It's only on Amazon though. so DH has channelled Comtess's aussie neighbour to get hold of it. ("Ohayou." to comtess btw, though less morning and more evening over there.)

Buffy is here for her two-monthly hack groom. It seems son-in-law has attacked trimmed her head. I know she pulled a lot of her fur out when she had the tooth infection, but he's overdone it. She's lost all her prettiness. Hope it grows back soon.

Appointment was okay. Doctor was very lovely but she's limited with what she can do I suppose. Has suggested getting back on touch with the person who came to see us before and asking school if they have a counsellor who'd be able to see him and go through the "worksheets" that he flatly refuses to do at home. Sigh. Feeling a bit defeated again.

I plan on getting rat arsed tonight as well as eating a small country's allowance of dim sum. Get the DrunkenLetUsPrey to English dictionary ready for later.
