Also wondering about Buffy.

MadamedeChevreuse · 31/05/2017 09:52

Morning! Excited about Strike! Will be away start of Aug but there's always iplayer. Maybe things are different now cos of interweb etc? Can imagine bored teens on summer hols watching it on iplayer a lot, so maybe aug is now quite a good time?

I must get up and get ds away from the tv.
Blush Not working + school hols = dangerously long lie ins.

ApricotCrush · 31/05/2017 09:53

Morning wenches.

Thanks for the concern about Buffy. She's much better, apparently tearing around this morning, but still on antibiotics and painkillers. She has to have the tooth out though, so we're not out of the woods yet.

Love the mugs. Grin

We have DGS for the day, so think of me kindly etc.

Have a good day all. Smile

Ds2 is watching a Pokemon DVD
I'm mooching about on mn and waiting for Dh and ds1 to get back.
Must go and doooooo something I suppose....

Oh dear, DGS has fallen over in the garden and hurt his arm. I hate accidents on our watch. He's ok, just watching TV now.

Glad Buffy is feeling better Smile

I have a weird taste in my mouth, is this a hormonal thing?

Badders123 · 31/05/2017 12:42

Is it metallic?
If so yes it could be
Dh and ds back - they had a fab time

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 31/05/2017 12:52

I think it's metallic, I also have a weird smell in my nose. I'm ovulating atm so I figured it might have something to do with it. I also need to pee a lot and am so tired Hmm

When are you travelling to anearbyScandinaviancapital Bads?

LetUsPrey · 31/05/2017 12:54

Hurrah for Buffy tearing about and safe return of MrBadderz and NotSoMiniBadderz.

What Badderz said re funny taste in mouth Wicked.

Hope DGS is okay Apricot. DS2 fell backwards off a wall whilst at MIL's, though DH was also there. That was a fun trip to the walk in centre. Still impressed I got all the blood out of DH's and DS2's tops.

Cinema didn't have any of the ice cream flavours I liked which is just as well bearing in mind that DS2's single scoop plus topping about six mini marshmallows was £3.05!!! Kinell.

Right, lunch then some kitchen tidying then not very much at all.

Badders123 · 31/05/2017 13:15

I'm having my hair done later
I HATE having my hair done 😣

ApricotCrush · 31/05/2017 13:40

He's fine LetUs. He's prone to breaking bones so we're a bit over-protective. He's already broken a collar bone, ankle and elbow. The ankle was in our bedroom when he was a toddler. He fell down a step and DH, DD and I watched it happen and couldn't get to him quickly enough.

I LOVE having my hair done Bads, I could sit there all day. DH cuts my hair though, so I never go to the hairdressers. Sad

LetUsPrey · 31/05/2017 14:06

Bit of a slo-mo moment when you can see it happening but can't get to them in time isn't it?

Also love the hairdressers. Quiet time on my own. No "muuuuuuuuuuummmmmm" for a little while and someone bringing me a Brew and Lotus biscuits Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 31/05/2017 14:33

I love going to the hairdresser, especially when they wash your hair Smile

MadamedeChevreuse · 31/05/2017 14:44

I really need my fringe cut. It's getting really hard to see. Hmm

I've just signed up to a sponsored charity event! It's the first time I've ever done one cos usually they involve ling distance running or swimming or some other physical jerking horror. Please sponsor me wenches! I fear I will never make the target as I have no work colleagues and bugger all family to hassle about it Confused

Details are on my fb or pm me...

Badders123 · 31/05/2017 14:47

I can't stand it
Soooo boring

LetUsPrey · 31/05/2017 15:39

Bloody well done Madame and good luck!

Be all over soon Badderz and you'll look even more fabulous than usual

Oh Wicked, the hair washing! I remember many years ago going to my then hairdressers and the chap washing my hair was someone I'd been at school with. He'd been okay at school (and believe me I didn't exactly turn heads either) but by his early 20s he was lovely. That hair wash was the best I've ever had Grin. He was jolly good at it

Poldark has a start date of 11th June - squeeeeeee!!!!!!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 31/05/2017 17:23
Badders123 · 31/05/2017 17:56

Sigh
Anyway...jave a good night wenches...im off for a choc ice 🍧

MadamedeChevreuse · 31/05/2017 18:18

Just saw about Poldark letus - so summer programming must now be where it's at, right? Wink

LetUsPrey · 31/05/2017 18:25

Absoblimminlutely Madame! Also, like you said, viewing habits have changed because of internet and iPlayer and shit so a summer start is obviously the place to be Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 31/05/2017 18:45

Madame - Doooooooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttttttttttttttt! Grin

I haven't been to a hairdresser for years... it's the MN haircut for me, plus help from DS and sometimes DH. I have never had a FAF hairdresser - if I had I might actually visit one more often.

Glad Buffy is better, hope DGS is ok Apricot. DS hurled himself into his pushchair for my DM once, and immediately bounced out again and split his eyebrow open on something. These things happen... it's not like I haven't been on duty for his other injuries that required medical intervention. (It's amazing how quickly you get seen then you and your child turn up in the Dr surgery covered in blood... and it's also useful if you have accidents in the presence of a nurse who whisks you up to the local minor injuries unit to help get sorted out.)

Oh - the Mug. yes Fancy - I have many more requirements/preferences, but it's only a mug and I think the checklist needs to be readable. It is, apparently, a genuine WW2 poster Grin

In TB filming news. I know why they are looking at non-acting experience actors (though I'm still astonished it's for the lead). My contact said that they have also put a call out for trainee technical crew - camera operators and the ilk. It's a kind of 'money can't buy' training experience that the production company are offering to up-and-coming talent/students. Good for them!

Hugo's upcoming project is Brittania which is going to be on Sky Atlantic at some point this year - they're on twitter at twitter.com/britannia_tv?lang=en

finally, at things leaving a funny taste in your mouth. soz. I am thoroughly ruined by you lot.

ApricotCrush · 31/05/2017 19:31

DGS has gone home now, he's fine.

Oh, jolly well done Madame, good luck.

Still a bit Hmm about TB's new project. Sounds like he's doing someone a favour. Where Martin thingy comes into this I don't know. Confused

Sooooo, if Poldark starts on 11th June and is 10 episodes long, and if Strike has the Sunday night spot and follows Poldark, it will start on the 20th August.
