Been for a walk with DS2 to post a card. Only collection was 9am! Going to have to drive to another postbox to post the flipping card. Person's birthday is today and is on DH's side of family. Mentioned it to him last night - is birthday 3rd or 4th (I always think 4th for some reason)? His reply was "how am I supposed to know?" Apparently having a penis prevents you from remembering family birthdays. Or looking at the bastard calendar where I've fucking written them all. Mind you, it's not like I was busy last week what with dying from toothache, planning the trip, packing, and then being away from Friday. Dick.

I always mean to get all the birthday cards at the beginning of the year and store them in a folder ready for mailing, but never do it. Always a last minute panic. And I take ages to find the right one, I can't stand the gushy sentimental ones.

DH has gone to collect DGS so waiting for the tornado to hit.

I have washing on the line - using the new washing pole - woo hoo!!! And using new washing lines. Yipee!! The fact that this is a cause for mild excitement says volumes about the reality of my life.

I am now going to retreat back into delusional happiness and celebrate using Athos' pole I believe there may have been some rope involved in S3Ep6 as well - I could utilise that rather than the washing line...

The weather has been glorious today, the wind is a bit chilly, but the sun is shining, everything is green & the birds are singing. I love spring Oh and there were billions of lambs in the fields, and I'm not even exaggerating.
