Oh ZombieFlowers

Sorry you are in pain and I hope magic medicine is with you soon.
Christmas went far too quickly, I would have cried too. I'm really sorry you are upset & in pain but hoping that better pain management will be in place soon.

Could dark pee be a sign of kidney trouble?

Massive hugs to you lovely

OhTheRoses · 29/12/2016 10:17

Hope you had a better night. With love x
I think you would be justified in getting the doctr to come to you. It's -4 still here.

MsHooliesCardigan · 29/12/2016 11:01

Zombie hope you're feeling a bit better. Am thinking of you ❤️

hazeyjane · 29/12/2016 11:07

Zombie, have lurked and read your threads for a long time, but never posted, despite loving the warmth of your threads.

I am so glad your Christmas was good, and so sorry you are in pain. Wishing it subsides with magic medicine.

Wolfiefan · 29/12/2016 11:10

Hoping the magic medicine arrives bloody quickly and really helps. I recommend a steady supply. Really do. Flowers

UnbornMortificadoAtChristmas · 29/12/2016 13:43

Hope you've had a comfortable night.

DeckTheHallsWithLimbsOfZombie · 29/12/2016 15:38

I've not rung the GP today. I slept until about 6.30 this morning, got up for about an hour, took all my meds and went back to bed for a little nap. Little nap lasted for nearly 7 hours.

Urine is back to the colour of straw. The fog may have lifted in most parts of the country but I still can barely see the bottom of my garden. Pain is under control. I DO want to get checked for a UTI but that's going to wait until tomorrow now.

I've not been doing absolutely nothing. I've lodged my PIP claim and just need to post off the DS1500 to them tomorrow. I've also filled in the application for my Blue Badge so that will also go in the post then. Other paperwork is mostly sorted into appropriate stacks and I'm making some progress with that as well.

ZKids are at Heathrow, checked in and just waiting for their flight to be called. They thoroughly enjoyed The Tempest. My friends who picked them up from here and drove them to Stratford were able to pick up a return at the box office so that + my unused ticket meant that they stayed and saw it also. Friends also organised all the getting to the airport for today. I suspect that involved picking them up in Stratford and delivering them to Warwick Parkway Coach Station this morning.

Wolfiefan · 29/12/2016 15:41

What lovely friends!
Glad to hear you had a nap and pain is under control.
Hoping the surgery sort it out quickly if it is a UTI.

UnbornMortificadoAtChristmas · 29/12/2016 15:54

What lovely friends. Could someone not pick up a urine sample kit up for you then drop it back in?

Your GP's may be different to mine but mine dip test in the actual GP surgery. I just know they can get serious quickly especially with other health issues Flowers

BathshebaNewYearStone · 29/12/2016 16:17

Oh Zombie I hope your UTI gets sorted soon. Flowers

Susiesoap7 · 29/12/2016 16:22

Glad you had a good sleep zombie and managed to get a few things done, I pray your discomfort and pain subsides so you can be comfortable.glad you have such good friends to help you out. Help can come in many forms if you just ask. 🌸🌸🌸

OhTheRoses · 29/12/2016 17:23

Zombie you truly are wonder woman. Am having lunch with a girlfriend tomorrow opposite your old Nat West. I'll treat myself to a little bunch of flowers from next door and think of you when I look at them Smile

LlamaDrama · 29/12/2016 18:28

Sounds like you had a fabulous Christmas Zombie.

DeckTheHallsWithLimbsOfZombie · 29/12/2016 20:51

Trying to watch mindless telly but I keep dozing off in the chair. Perhaps it's time to get a hottie ready and head up to bed.

Does anyone have a better suggestion?

MrsMozart · 29/12/2016 20:57

Definitely time for a hottie lass.

It's either that or a large vodka Xmas Grin

UnbornMortificadoAtChristmas · 29/12/2016 20:58

I'd rest up while you've got chance especially if you are going to the docs tomorow Flowers

TheoriginalLEM · 29/12/2016 20:58

hottie and bed sounds like a plan to me! christ the tv is crap tonight anyway

Susiesoap7 · 29/12/2016 21:29

I was gonna say vodka, hottie in bed, and yes tv is very crap tonight.🍷🍷hope you have a peaceful and pain free night xx

HerRoyalFattyness · 29/12/2016 21:52

Sleep well zombie

Wolfiefan · 29/12/2016 22:17

Hottie like the hot water bottle or has another mystery parcel arrived?! Grin

Mummylin · 29/12/2016 22:56

Happy to see that you have the pain under control today, but your body obviously needs the rest and sleep you have been getting, they do say that sleep is healing and there is no point tiring yourself out.
At Keats you managed to get a couple of things done , which can only be good.
I'm sure you are sorry that The newly weds have had to go home, but hopefully they can come back again fairly soon,. That must of given you such a boost.
Hope you will be cake making or some such thing soon 😀

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/12/2016 00:29

That's a lovely thoughtful thing Roses Smile

Zombie, sweetheart, you must be missing your lovely son and daughter in law, we can all feel it from wherever we are.

Just know and remember that they love you just as much wherever they are.

And look at all the dozens of MN lurkers who have broken cover to wish you well.

(((((((((((((Bear))))))))))))))

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/12/2016 00:50

Ooops, got the timing wrong, hope they will land safely.

The only improvement on your plan is to take a large whisky to bed with you.

Sorry if that's not the most sensible advice, just sounds good from where I'm sitting.

MrsMozart · 30/12/2016 08:42

Hope you had (are still having) a good night's sleep lass.

cozietoesie · 30/12/2016 11:36

Taking a large whisky to bed with you is generally eminently sensible advice.

It just depends on the whisky! Wink
