ZombieLad gets married today. Hats on and champagne at the ready!

A week today he and ZombieLass arrive to spend Christmas with me. It will be the Best. Christmas. Ever.

There have been no miracles so my remaining days keep ticking away. Life is for living. Death is not to be feared. Wakes are for celebrating.

I wondered about the side effects of the switch bath. I think society has changed so much in the years between your eldest and youngest that you need not worry about telling them anything but the truth. Organisations like Stonewall have helpful information but I'm not sure what support is there for families. A wonderful poster has some marvellous threads about dealing with a gay child emotionally even if you are perfectly respectful and understanding. I'll pm her user name if you'd like and you can look her up.

Gender and sexuality are so much more accepted as continuums now that nothing matters except that he or she, as preferred, is and always will be your child even as a grown up.

Hope everyone is clear headed today. I am having a lazy day and not even going to get dressed ! After buying my dd an air fryer I have decided to get one for myself so sent Dh off to get one while the price is still reduced !

Lazy day here. DH & DS are watching James bloody Bond - The Spy Who Loved Me. I went to see it at the cinema when it came out. My folks geed me up saying they were taking me out for an exciting trip. Then took me to see that. Scarred for life!

I've just made a lovely choc-chip apple crumble for after tea later. I was taking it out of the oven and some big orchestal triumphant 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' music came on. Quite apt - it does look rather good .
