ZombieLad gets married today. Hats on and champagne at the ready!

A week today he and ZombieLass arrive to spend Christmas with me. It will be the Best. Christmas. Ever.

There have been no miracles so my remaining days keep ticking away. Life is for living. Death is not to be feared. Wakes are for celebrating.

Ah, breakfast, what to have... Great slabs of leftover giraffe loaf covered in really good butter and spread thickly in the most excellent marmalade or lovely bagels smoothed in cream cheese and delicately decorated with strips of yummy smoked salmon?

I'm slobbed on m'granny chair doing nowt. Had brekkie (porridge made with water - I need to get over the food hangover from the last two days!). Am contemplating getting dressed and tidying up before guests arrive for lunch.

Perhaps I should have added to be done by Feb half term. Some are bigger than others but perhaps ten by Monday! We are off to Wisley at about 11.

Urrggghhhh. DS was up from 3am being sick, DH has a chest infection / cold so has been coughing & snoring all night. We didn't go to bed until about 1am. I think I've had about 3 hours' sleep - and most of that after DH got up.

Yesterday DH said we'd need to tidy up all the rubbish. Agreed, of course. Except he got up 2 hours before me & has been sitting in the kitchen doing Lego instead of, you know, taking the initiative & taking the crap out. Sigh.

Luckily we have no plans for today.

BathsLad isn't allowed out of hospital to come for supper, he's got a really high temperature.

BathshebaSnowflakeZone all is tightly crossed that his temperature comes down very soon and all is well.

Thanks for all your wishes for BathsLad, he's still got a high temperature,I'll email him in a second, he usually crashes out around 9.

I emailed BathsLad photos from Christmas day, he's of DS2's Spiderman socks! It's hard to get Spiderman socks to fit a grown man!
