Five years on from my first treatment, the options have pretty much run out.

Please join us for the rest of the journey. Doom and gloom is absolutely banned. There are still laughs and love to share and celebrate.

somer I've just realised I was reading a thread of yours not long ago about DPs friend...she sounded a bit unhinged to be honest. Have you sorted that out?

Oh I wish I'd seen this thread earlier! I'm near the Sutton Marsden, I could have offered you help with transport, Zombie. It's a great hospital, I've had a lot to do with it over the past year.

I think I remember the dating thread too. Settled down in the Pitt Rivers Museum now. DD's just having a sarnie and meeting ds at 5 to take a mountain of dirty washing and heavy things home.

I'm safely home but utterly exhausted.

I have a lot of paperwork to read (and re-read); a lot of hard thinking to do; then finally I have some extremely difficult decisions to make.

That's all I'm willing to give as an update at this point. Please just bear with me and don't push me for any more information until I am willing to share it.

Well, we are in our house!

We have half the lights, half the heating and no kitchen appliances and only a shower over the bath

But we have wood burner and TV, new beds, and DD, son in law and DGS coming over to stay the night.
Better go and make the beds and find some lamps.

Am resting also having had the onerous job of getting the C'mas decorations out of the storeroom. Being without a car these days I couldn't lug home a real tree on my bike so a couple of years ago bought online an artificial one for the 1st time. He's called "Stumpy" which is v festive. FidGirl's going to decorate him while I watch Strictly.

Zombie the use of ears (for listening), shoulders (for crying on), fingers (for crossing) or any other body parts is not mandatory at any time. But you know this.

DD1 wants to spend the day hanging out with a friend at the mall rather than coming shopping for stuff for the new house and going to a Christmas market with us. And so it begins. I am a bit emotional about it but I think I'm hiding it pretty well. I hope.

Fids do you actually get Strictly on TV there? We used to get BBC 1 and 2 when we lived in The Netherlands on regular TV, twas awesome. I miss Strictly but I'm sure I could find it on YouTube or something.

I have a basic satellite thingy.

Know what you mean about your d. Am pleased FidGirl wants to decorate Stumpy and is not off at another sleepover. FidBoy1 has gone to Berlin with his gf who's moving there. Don't know when I'll see him again as he's between school/studies. FidBoy2's off to an Irish pub (v popular in Germany) with his friends tonight.

Soon it'll be just me and Stumpy
