In the good old days of North Sea Ferries their Dutch ships used to sell some fab gins, especially Oude Genever, drunk neat and chilled, often yellow in colour.
I'm hearing good things about Monkey 47 Schwartzwald gin from Germany too, so things can't be that bad out there Fid

Hello Zombie, I read your post this morning and snivelled into my cornflakes, and as usual couldn't think of anything suitable to say. But I promised when I met you that I'd pop by and post anyway. So here I am.

That's a really shitty update. But the fat lady ain't singing yet so I shall join the Phlanx in raising my glass of lime and soda to you and hope that you continue to defy expectations and can obtain whatever it takes to keep the pain at bay

We are all obviously upset to see this news but we need to make this a happy thread so that Zombie enjoys chatting with us all .
So I will tell you about my stupid antics from last night !
5 of us went out for a pub meal last night, then went back to my brothers for a cup of tea and a chat. My brother has recently refurbed all the downstairs of his house. He showed me his new lights that he had at the top of his units in the lounge and told me to clap my hands and the lights would work. I did and yes it was true, I then was going from light to light like a loon clapping to make them brighter or dimmer. After about 5 mins he revealed ............ A bloody remote control he had in his pocket controlling the lights !!!! We had such a laugh about it, but I will get my revenge !!
