That could be why then, I'm on mobile.
Stupid new colours. I hate them Angry I want my old ones back. I don't like it when things change on me.

Mummylin · 26/10/2016 09:54

Before jeffreygate I used to be on classic where you could pick your own colours, when the site went down somehow MN deleted my registration and I had to sign up again, but by then the option to choose classic had gone so I had to have what I have now ( I didn't use to have pages ) where there is no option to change colours at all. I am on desktop. I was lucky that MN gave me my posting name back after a while, but it was a bloody pain in the arse when I couldn't post for about three weeks ! So. I am stuck with pink and green.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 26/10/2016 23:10

I seem to remember choosing to be on Classic but I've just noticed at the bottom of my screen that I'm on the Mobile Site.
I only ever come here on laptop so would I be better off on DeskTop.
I thought Mobile was for phones.
What's the difference?

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 26/10/2016 23:13

Oh God lin can't you choose no pages any more, how frustrating.

Mummylin · 26/10/2016 23:37

No BBB haven't been able to go back on classic since I had to re register. I was a tad annoyed because it was something that MN did by mistake ! So I had to lump it so now I don't have any choices apart from how many posts on a page, and that's it !! I liked mine on one continuing thread !!

Mummylin · 26/10/2016 23:40

I am on desktop on my iPad. I'm not sure about the mobile site but I know when something happened on MN and lots of us couldn't post, someone told me to click on mobile at the bottom of the page and post that way. So I did. That must of been about three years ago, haven't been on it since so don't really know much about it.

Mummylin · 26/10/2016 23:41

Change over to desktop just to see if you prefer it, it's easy to change back again.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 26/10/2016 23:52

My colours went a bit wonky the past couple of days (both laptop and mobile) but I have managed to change them ALMOST back to what they were before.

Mummylin that must be awful. I hate pages with a passion. If I couldn't have one continuous thread I would seriously consider fllouncing. Am not kidding.

Mummylin · 27/10/2016 00:38

Haha , I was so glad to get back on the site at the time I just accepted it, nothing I could do anyway, but I did love my long page. I have got used to the pages now, but if I could go back to classic pages I would. It's a nuisance if you are looking for a certain post and you have to go through the pages !!

Mummylin · 27/10/2016 00:40

I think that everyone should have a choice !

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 27/10/2016 08:34

If I go and change anything I might lose something I want, like one long page, or Classic, I'll just put up with the rubbish colours for now.
Thanks though.

magimedi · 27/10/2016 11:42

Colours have gone back to normal - at least on desktop. I've done a change & it hasn't affected my one page style.

Mummylin · 27/10/2016 15:12

I am so envious of those who still have classic, I loved only having the long page.

IamtheZombie · 27/10/2016 17:13

Somewhat knackered Zombie checking in.

Yesterday was quite productive: 3 loads of laundry done and a car full recycling and rubbish disposed of.

I've spent 6 hours in Ludlow today - car has had a full service and MOT as well as a complimentary valet. It goes back next Wednesday as the cam belt is due for replacement. That will be another nearly full day as it will take about 4 hours.

The hospital rang this afternoon. My oncologist has cancelled my scheduled chemo for Monday. She wants to see me in clinic first so will be bringing forward that appointment. I'm beginning to get the feeling that my time with TDM-1 is coming to an end. No use speculating until I see her though. At least I now have a clear day tomorrow (no blood test required until the day before the clinic appointment) and another on Monday. With luck I'll completely demolish the laundry mountain and get a lot of house cleaning done.

Not surprised you're knackered Z, that's 2 busy, tough days.

I don't know the significance of TDM-1 ending. Presumably you'll be switched to something else?

You must be having lots of visitors you're hiding from us to generate mountains of laundry, hmm? Grin

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 27/10/2016 18:50

Ooh yes, I'm silver again.

What else will be sliding under the radar while we all celebrate the re-instatement of naice colours victory?

Cynical moi?

IamtheZombie · 27/10/2016 19:05

TDM-1 is the chemo I've been on for 18 months. It's been a bit of a rocky relationship but it's done one hell of a good job keeping the cancer under control. My oncologist has always said there are more treatments in reserve. The problem may be how long it may be before I'm fit enough to even try something else.

Nope, no visitors recently. My laundry room is in the basement and is only acccessible by outside steps. I've not been well enough to get up and down. I have a very large knicker drawer, lots of jeggings (in various sizes to accomodate fluctuating belly bloat), leggings, and tops (summer & winter). I live in pyjamas if I don't need to go out (have lots of those as well!). I also have half a dozen duvet sets and a tower of towels. Over the last couple of months those items have formed the laundry mountain.

Wolfiefan · 27/10/2016 19:08

Go easy on that laundry pile. Don't exhaust yourself my lovely. Why can't cats learn to be assistant cats? Dogs do. Surely they can load the washing machine. (Although evil tortie may slam her sister in there. Bad puss!)
Hoping maybe just a short hiatus and then back on the existing plan or straight to a new one. Shall keep it all crossed.

Fiderer · 27/10/2016 19:10

Huzzah! Zombie is green again. For me anyway. So that's good, from glowing vomitous pink back to green.

That sentence could only make sense on MN Grin

iklboo · 27/10/2016 19:30

Cat2 is sleep

iklboo · 27/10/2016 19:30

I'll try that again....

Cat2 is sleeping in the laundry basket. Does that count?

HerSpookyFattyness · 27/10/2016 21:17

My colours are still shit. I'm on mobile so maybe that's why.

zombie don't go exhausting yourself.

magimedi · 28/10/2016 08:19

Don't overdo it, Zombie.

Could you not find someone to come in once a week & deal with the laundry?

Is there a laundromat anywhere near that does a service wash?

If you lived nearer I'd be round like a shot..........

Mummylin · 28/10/2016 09:56

Zombie, that sounds like a lot of effort to tackle that, especially when you don't feel 100%. I'm sure there would be someone local looking for a couple of hours work who could help you out. Is that a possibility ?

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 28/10/2016 14:26

I love that idea. Some kindly woman from the village like in books who would come every morning to beat the hearth rug, lay the fire and scrub the pine table in the kitchen, singing all the while and making and consuming copious amounts of tea Grin
