Welcome to another thread of respectful appreciation of rabid perving over the glorious sight to behold that is the assorted HBFs of The Musketeers.

(With a side order of whatever/whoever else we decide to blether on about at the time.)

elk I don't mind some of the bloggers. OutsideXbox are very good and are just a normal bunch of people who like gaming. This bloke otoh has the most nasal voice imaginable and just bores on about frame rate and pixel quality.

Tom breathing in my ear

ApricotCrush · 02/03/2016 11:34

Morning! It's fecking snowing here!

I've listened to the 5 episodes to Jane Eyre some of them more than once. I've always loved Mr. Rochester. An elderly neighbour gave me the book when I was 10 or 11 and in bed with measles. I was entranced, it gave me my ideals of love and men although RL doesn't always measure up. I've read it many times since and never tire of it.

Sympathies to insomnia wenches and LetUs for shit job. Good luck at the Drs Badders.

Grown men becoming obsessed with pretend things on the internet/games consoles. FFS.

DartsTart · 02/03/2016 12:51

Mr Elk should come (nlt) to mine if he is into tanks - I am inundated with the real things -

New Wench fitness regieme 'Dog walking with tart' rest of chalte have returned early and put on a 'humourous' American film. Swearing a go-go. DS banished to room watching one of his films on headphones. I'm sitting here with a cbf et the swearing, but can't get internet connection in our room.

Mouse, for me, he's mysterious and complex, and you want to get underneath the harsh exterior to find out what makes him tick. From what he says, it's clear that he's damaged, like Athos, but inside there's a vulnerable being who needs the right person to bring him back to life. I agree about Max de Winter, but I also love Heathcliff. I obviously have a type. Grin

Badders123 · 02/03/2016 13:55

Jane eyre is in my top 3 books of all time so...yeah. It's a aim win for me :)
Love Amanda hale too.
Well.
My L2 disc is fucked (as well as my L3)
Urgent referral to physio.
My new glasses are delayed again...beginning to think there may be an issue with the (cheap) frame I chose :(
Kids at work were horrendous today. So loud!
Feel curling up somewhere and having a cry :(

Badders123 · 02/03/2016 13:56

Sorry, that was totally self pitying.
I do not function well on no sleep :(

ElkCameUponHerMusketeer · 02/03/2016 13:59

Quite Sparks, he ignores my obsession with beardy leather clad men, and I overlook the fact that he's a complete nerd....swings and roundabouts.

Tart do you actually have a dog (nto)?

I pleased to report Tom Burke has been breathing in my ear all morning, and it's had the desired effect.

DartsTart · 02/03/2016 14:06

elk I have four - but would readily swap them for THAT ONE immediately- speaking of which

Bads, no sleep, in pain and unable to see ...don't you dare apologise. You've got an hour.....now LIE DOWN.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/03/2016 14:30

for Badders and MrC-less Comtess
Elk are you completely ruined, or have been working like a demon in the cellar, or both?
Am v.v.v.v. much looking forward to having MrB breathing in my ear in due course.

also agree with Mouse re. Mr Rochester & Heathcliff being admire-from-distance types, but then again, since there is no real life involved I'm not going to get burned, so I figure no harm done Grin Have never seen the attraction of Max de Winter at all.

(See, I have RTFT and even retained a little!)

Afternoon wenches. It's ScaredyCat's first day outside for ages today & she is driving me mad with her in/out faffing.

Never saw the attraction in MrR or Max de W, and Heathcliff lost me when he killed Isabella's dog, so I guess that shows I've never been in the mean & moody camp.

CrazyCatWench · 02/03/2016 15:18

Lots of hugs for wifey and all other wenches in need Flowers

ElkCameUponHerMusketeer · 02/03/2016 15:21

I'm not ruined thank you Helen, but I have been in The Stidge, as I'm affectionately calling my cellar nowadays....and I have more or less finished Hannah's painting - hooray! I prob shouldn't have worn a 'good' jumper though, it's now covered in oil paint.

MrB's come and fuck me dulcet tones have been on a loop, and have soothed any pangs of artistic angst

Look at that, school run, and it's pissing it down. The two are most definitely connected.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/03/2016 15:21

tbh I don't think I paid enough attention to anyof them other than to file them under a generic 'moody anti-hero' tab in my brain.

I read a great book once Is Heathcliff a Murderer? about literary mysteries (i.e. how did Heathcliff get his money during his 'missing years') and also enjoyed How to Become Ridiculously Well-read in One Evening which was a really good giggle - I must re-read it...

Is utterly dumping down here at the moment...

TB has cancelled his appearance at Comic Con at Cardiff on Saturday due to work commitments. Don't think any of us were going, were we?

Love name of 'stidge'. Well done on finishing Hannah's picture Elk.
Oh dear, that's not good of TB isn't it Apricot?
Where are the angry fans Helen? What are they saying?

ApricotCrush · 02/03/2016 16:41

Photo sessions will naturally be refunded, but not entry fees. Bournemouth on the 12th is cancelled too, I assume it's due rehearsals for RTBH. Ryan has stepped in to replace him. I think people going have to accept that work always has to come first.

AriadneNoir · 02/03/2016 18:04

Hopes Badds is revitalised somewhat and is enjoying an afternoon wrapped in The Cardigan xxx

Haven't seen any angriness about TB cancellations.... tbh that would be bad form... he's an actor... needs to work an' all. I am still going to Bournemouth and will be happy to curtsey to Kingy.

Elk I have failed totally at keep my creativity alive.... tis sad, but the more a regret it the harder it becomes to start again. So I've let myself off the hook in the hopes of an organic re-ingnitging of artistic activity. x

Badders123 · 02/03/2016 19:19

Revitalised!?
Hahahahahahahaha
Ds1 came home from school and begged me to make a Viking costume for world book day tomorrow.
Ffs.
So I've spent the last 2 hours canabalising an old werewolf Halloween costume and have come up with;
Fake fur beard (held in with elastic)
Cape (made from curtain lining material) and fake fur trim at neck held in place with a safety pin and ornate tassel from my jewellery box
Ragged trousers from an old pirate dress up
Borrowed grey top
Viking helmet and sword.
I also have face paint for the morning.
I can do no more wenches.
I'm off to Valhalla bed
