Badders - I know it doesn't seem it but the only way to make things better is to do the things you want and make the changes you need whatever they may be. I made that decision 5 years ago and I have never looked back really. Do what you want for you no matter how big or small and other stuff follows. At the risk of sounding Howie, you have to see the glass as half full and not half empty.

Morning. So getting up a good 3 or 4 hours earlier today than I have for the past 10 was a bit of a struggle if I'm honest. UGH.

I started watching TNM with my ironing then got embroiled in interruptions & couldn't get into it - should I start again & concentrate? Is it a series or a one-off? But sorry, no, he did nowt for me in what I saw.

Yep, agree, TNM was really fucking excellent. Totally hooked in. And not purely cos of Hidders' open linen shirt (though it helped.) Cant wait for next week. Simon Rev Thick of It was briliant, so was Olivia C and Hidders. Hugh Laurie I just kept seeing as George from Blackadder but that is normal apart from when he's in House. I have a feeling his true evil will kick in next week. sparks tart you have to give it a look!

Morning, off out on a course all day today. Like sparks, have found getting up considerably earlier than recently a bit of a chore.

I'd try watching again sparks, it was pretty good even without the perving element. It was on BBC1 tart, so you should find it on BBC iPlayer.

Had a dream where I was watching telly and there was a trailer for the new series of The Musketeers! Looked amazing but I didn't get to see the coming soon or whatever bit and the end because the alarm went off.

I did not get up any earlier than usual thanks to DS and his internal alarm (set for 4:30 today apparently) and DH and his inability to deal with the whole breakfast/get ready for school thing if I'm in the house and capable of dooooooing iiiiiiiiiiiittt and he had a crap night's sleep and was still awake at 1:30am so... Yes *Obs, it is getting lighter in the mornings - the cockerel tries to attack me most mornings, so it is def. spring. (And, as DS said, the daffodils and cockroaches are out).

urgh. Hamstrings are tight as @! after all of yesterday's gardening, and I need to work. I do. If anyone finds my motivation sculling about could they let me know? I may have left it in the hayloft. But if I go back up there I'll definitely get distracted and do no work.

Oh! In other news, I bought new metal mouse trap at the weekend because the traditional wooden ones were merely acting as feeding stations. This had the extra bonus of giving us template to re-assemble our existing metal mousetrap which had exploded into bits. Sooooooo... this morning I had one mouse in the utility room, and one shrew. Mousetraps will be reloaded and primed...
