Thanks for good wishes, having a lovely day actually. Loads of beautiful flowers, both my kids trying to outdo each other ! Lots of vouchers,theatre tickets and a door mat !
Door mat is from my brother who got me my " queen of fucking everything " mug and since that I always sign off emails to him with HRH and then add something to it. My doormat says "HRH is in residence " it was so funny.

My last visitors left at around midnight, been an exhausting day But really lovely despite everything else, oh and my ex has been released from hospital today. The fluid has now gone. Not sure what they did to clear it. I do know that he is now going to be on oxygen forever But I'm sure he will cope with that. So for now fingers crossed he is ok.

I am going out for a surprise meal tonight with Dh. He has just told me I have to be ready for 6.30 ! Here are a couple of my birthday flowers. I had 7 lots altogether !!

The weather is utterly vile! It's absolutely pouring down with frequent window rattling gusts of wind. It would be perfect for a duvet day.

But...

I have an MRI at the QE Hospital in Birmingham at 5.00pm. I need to leave in about an hour to begin my journey. I'm just praying the roads aren't flooded between here and Telford. I'm seriously considering packing a bag so I can check into the Premier Inn by the station tonight. For reasons I will explain in a moment, I won't get back to Telford until at least 10.00pm. I hate driving in the dark at the best of times. Bad weather is NOT the best of times. I also need to do a major food shop tomorrow. Staying in Telford puts me 5 minutes away from a big Tesco. Hmmm...

Anyway, the reason I'm staying on in Brum for a few hours after my MRI is that I'm having dinner with an amazing and gorgeous friend!!! It's been way too long.

Another good reason for checking in to the hotel is that you will be able to have with friend.

Hope the MRI goes OK & that you have a really lovely evening with your friend.

I've got a real urge to bake today. DH & I are both dieting but I've got a Slimming World lemon cake recipe I can knock up. It's like an actual physical ache I have to bake.......weird.

I third hotel zombie, will also give you time to recharge your batteries. Have a lovely evening with your friend. ( I love premier inns ) especially the pillows !!

My brother has just been and I suspect that he is coming out too because I was listening to him talk to Dh and Dh said to him " I was going to tell you lat " then he changed it, we will see if I'm right. !

Haha the plot thickens, Dh just said my Ds is coming so I now suspect there will be others and it's obviously not just Dh and myself !! Ds would not be coming without his dw so prob my gs and his gf coming too and maybe my Dd and gd,s !!!

But they're healthy buns Fatty. Slimming World recipe. 2.5syns each.

But ikl I don't have the slimming world recipe so I have to eat actual cake. Which isn't healthy.
