Leaving dh in hospital tonight, very hard

Bless him. He came home for the weekend, and 'lost' his side room. The other people in his ward are fairly obviously very ill, and that just seems to make everything seem worse

He has his scan tomorrow, I have a day off work and will see him in the day.

Send good vibes please. I'm just hoping that his consultant is right and it isn't cancer

The consultant is an old curmudgion who doesn't sugar the pill at all!

He says that dhs weight loss doesn't fit 'the profile', whatever that means, but obviously can't give guarentees etc.

Poor sweetheart, it was so hard to leave him.

MI, tbh that was my thought. He even has a handlebar 'tash! Doc in day to day care of dh is a wonderful, clever, helpful (so good she could be a nurse! ) young woman who intoroduced herself by her first name and spent ages with us. So I think we have all bases covered!
