Leaving dh in hospital tonight, very hard

Bless him. He came home for the weekend, and 'lost' his side room. The other people in his ward are fairly obviously very ill, and that just seems to make everything seem worse

He has his scan tomorrow, I have a day off work and will see him in the day.

Send good vibes please. I'm just hoping that his consultant is right and it isn't cancer

Old skool consultants never err on the side of even faint optimism, that's what I'm hoping for. More positive vibes for you both - being without your usual sparring partner when you are never apart ordinarily is always hard, even without your extra worries tonight.
So hoping for confirmation of curmudgeonly hunches tomorrow...

somehow I think this may well put pay to flying, but that is the least of our worries atm.

They don't know quite how ill he could be atm, and until I know something, that is how things will stay.

they are 'used' to him being away, so in that respect we cope well
