I usually call B&B to tell them how a job went and how long we were there. There's no need to do it with castings though.

LM - I saw a window poster of your son in woolworths today, he lokked great.

ellesmum · 21/11/2006 13:29

mythumbs - u poor thing, hope u and dd get better soon

ellesmum · 21/11/2006 13:31

lolly - thankyou, i have a local bhs but it only has a small childrenswear dept

lolalou · 21/11/2006 13:32

TBH can't remember what she was wearing just remembered that I'd seen on here that your DD was in the window - got all excited over the wrong child!! Will check what the blonde child is wearing too

Lolly68 · 21/11/2006 13:32

Sutton has a big department so I should imagine it will be there.

littlemadam · 21/11/2006 13:33

Mrsratty, Wow!! I had no idea, what was the poster?? We haven't got it in our local one Thanks for noticing.

On Saturday I was told DS is in the fashion pages of Junior this month, so I'll keep a look out, hope its here this week!!!

Best of luck to Pimmsy and Julie today, all extremities crossed!! When are they shooting?

lolalou · 21/11/2006 13:34

MSratty As I'm checking out BHS will check out wollies too in the midlands area - what does DS look like?

lolalou · 21/11/2006 13:35

Sorry that last message was for little madam

mrsratty · 21/11/2006 13:42

littlemadam - Your son was sitting on the beach by himself advertising the new autumn/winter clothing range. It was big like the mothercare picture! I took a picture on my camera phone but unfortunatley I can't sent it(that function broke when it went in the washing machine!)

littlemadam · 21/11/2006 13:45

Lolalou, thanks!! He has light brown curly quite long messy hair and blue eyes, He is six. He wore, hats and scarves for most of pics except one when he was eating chips by a rowing boat. That would be lovely, I might have a quick trip to naxt town tomorrow!!

littlemadam · 21/11/2006 13:46

Thanks mrsratty, I remember about that phone!!! I know which pic you mean!

mythumbelinas · 21/11/2006 13:48

littlemadam, your ds is doing so well .. sounds like great pics

Lolly68 · 21/11/2006 13:50

Mythumbs - hope you feel better soon.

LM - will look out for DS in Sutton Woolies.

mrsratty · 21/11/2006 13:50

The phone bugs me but I can't justify buying a new one as it does it's job as a phone and I hace a digital camera too!
It was really nice to see a picture of someone I recognised form here. Two windows in one go is really good!!

littelmadam - congrats i was only in woolworths sat yet didn't see him yet will keep my eye out for next time

the ted baker shoot is sometime in dec they haven't got an exact date yet. i will try to find out if today is the only casting day.

right just about to log off. catch u later

my thumbs- hope your little one is better soon

littlemadam · 21/11/2006 14:05

I know hat you mean Mrsratty, mine keeps missing calls, and running out of battery, but I have to wait for the contract to be over so I can get one for free - I haven't tried washing it tho have emailed you!

Anyone else with castings this week?? December seems to be a busy time for shoots - thought lots of people would be busy with nativity plays and parties so they would avoid it - but once again I am completely off the mark

mythumbelinas · 21/11/2006 14:11

mrsratty, i know what you mean about not getting a new phone. I'd had my phone fro 3 yrs and it did it's job, it had a camera, also that i couldn't send from, and i have a great digital camera. However, my hubby bought a new one for my b'day, despite me saying 'no need' and i love it!! I'm so pleased with it .. i can download straight to my pc It's a sony ericsson w810i i think)

mrsratty · 21/11/2006 14:13

I have emailed you back

I don't have a contract, £10 lasts about 2 months!

OP posts:
mythumbelinas · 21/11/2006 14:17

i don't have a contract either .. i'm pay as you go, which works out much cheaper than when i paid monthly

littlemadam · 21/11/2006 14:21

My last phone lasted about five years, and I still miss it!! I am only on contract as its thru the business, so we get a deal for more phones - DH does know how long I'm yakking for though

Lolly68 · 21/11/2006 14:31

LM - same here. My DP puts my phone through the business - he moans every month cos I send too many text messages!

mythumbelinas · 21/11/2006 14:39

housemum, good luck with the marie chantal job
I've taken dd1 to eat at Chelsea kitchen before .. was meeting a friend and after bad traffic and parking i was over an hour late! It's lovely food
