OK so this is not modelling related, but saw the posts re cakes earlier - think it was Mythumbs who said she'd like to make a cake one day - here is my idiot-proof recipe (so long as you have an electric mixer else it's a good way of building arm muscles!)
6oz self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
6 oz caster sugar
6 oz soft marg (the stuff in tubs, pref at room temp)
3 eggs
Grease a couple of sandwich cake tins (use a bit of soft butter/marg on kitchen roll) and put in about a tsp of flour and shake it around to cover the butter - that's the tricky bit done. You can buy cake tin liners in Lakeland Ltd which is pricey but easy!
Bung all ingredients in a bowl, mix with electric mixer for about 2 mins - put into your cake tins, bake at 180 degrees C for 25 mins.
Leave them to cool for a few minutes, run a knife round the edge and tip them onto a rack to cool properly.
That's it - fill with jam, or jam and cream, and everyone thinks you're some kind of domestic godess!!
