well done on the ted baker jobs.

im so glad u/a didnt assess me or my kids would have never got in.some may say im a little to cockney lol.but i do try hard to put on my airs and graces. thats one of the reasons we went with u/a they are so lovely and down to earth.

Lolly68 · 29/11/2006 14:45

Same here MaryMay. I have a very strong south london accent... definately would not have made the grade... ha ha.

ellismummy · 29/11/2006 14:54

Im not pushy-honestly!! If i was i would be trying to get both my ds's into it but i know the older one is not at all interested, younger one enjoys it all tho.
It said in the letter that they were absolutly in undated with photos for this end of yr intake so they had to make some hard choices, Im not taking it personally, when we applied to b&b they said to re-apply when hes 3 so we will see how ts goes from jan.

marymay · 29/11/2006 14:57

lolly..we live in south east london now. just waiting for a casting for eastenders my children would so get the job.

lanismum · 29/11/2006 15:00

at marymay, we are in east london, my dd would be perfect for eastenders if only she would talk

marymay · 29/11/2006 15:03

ellismummy.i think ive seen your ds on the other website.he is gorgeous im sure he will do great whom ever he is with.

marymay · 29/11/2006 15:08

lets pray for a new family with loads of kids

Lolly68 · 29/11/2006 15:08

I was brought up in Battersea and Balham and now I love in snobby Surrey - have deffo gone up in the world but as they say you can take the girl out of South London but not South London out of the girl!!

marymay · 29/11/2006 17:22

lolly..never a truer word said.

littlemadam · 29/11/2006 17:33

Hi everyone, Julie, hope your dates are OK.
We're off to see Disney tomorrow, but it was a no from Monsoon Though probably for the best, I thought it was catwalk for 200 and it was actually in front of 500 people!! Think DS might have freaked!
Best of luck everyone with castings/auditions. Sorry to hear about the school sha11, they sound very harsh.

mrsratty · 29/11/2006 17:36

littlemadam - 500 is alot! Did you get your license sorted?

OP posts:
littlemadam · 29/11/2006 17:40

I think so...haven't heard anything back so assuming its OK. I faxed the school letter off on Monday and didn't hear anthing.

mrsratty · 29/11/2006 17:46

I know here they send the license to your mouse, it takes a minmum of 1 week. Some other councils take 3 weeks!

OP posts:
ellesmum · 29/11/2006 17:53

mrsratty - lol mouse!

littlemaddam- wow didnt realise monsoon was for catwalk and infront of 500 people!
good luck with disney!

Tinkerbel5 · 29/11/2006 18:02

good luck with disney LM X

mrsratty didnt know you have your own mouse servant

2ManyPimms · 29/11/2006 18:14

Oh, jeez, LM - why did I think you had Disney already - it must have been Monsoon. Shame about that, but I understand about the freakout potential!

mrsratty · 29/11/2006 18:27

whoops!!!

OP posts:
littlemadam · 29/11/2006 18:35

Oh Pimms the Disney is a shoot, not a casting thank goodness! Don't know what for though...
Have you a date for TB yet - DS must be popping!!!

Mrsratty, they post them here, usually takes about 3 or 4 days, but they are pretty relaxed as long as the application is being processed.

I think 500 would have been overwhelming, I thought it was 200 which is bad enough, it wasn't till I read the casting note and it said the child would be on a catwalk infront of 500 staff, and would be expected to be fun and lively, hard work!! In a way I am pretty relieved, DS really enjoys photoshoots and wouldn't like him to do something he didn't enjoy.

mrsratty · 29/11/2006 18:38

I really don't imagine may children would enjoy. Good luck with Disney!

Need advice. My daughter was accepted by Urban Angels but I signed her with Bizzy Kidz and Fine Kids and two days after signing her she had a job. My friends have kids with Urban Angels and say I must switch but I'm unsure of what to do. Can anyone help?

nappyaddict · 30/11/2006 00:47

is anyone with eurokids?

nappyaddict · 30/11/2006 00:55
