julie, ua are letting everyone know by the end of this week so prob wont hear until later on in the week. If we were lucky enough to get a yes I still dont know whether we will go with them or stay with ts.
Really hope your ds gets ted baker job, he deserves something well paid now.

on the day of the casting ds said he didnt want to do it - s i cancelled . i'd never make him to do it.

whenever we go to casting for UA put if its paid or not on email confirmation.

can see now why i am holding back talking to ds school at modelling - when they know and are funny about it you cant take sneaky days off. well its a lot harder to. think i will just do holidays as well soon.

lolly- glad you got things sorted with kids!

dd's job went okish with mackays, she was quite good in the beginning and then played up a bit, she seems like such hard work to keep still at some jobs, the other little girl who was there stood dead still all the way through! but she was a bit older than elle. the setting was really nice, its was for spring window displays and they had huge daisies everywhere and a lovely swing. some of the shots are also for their spring catalouge. near the end dd had enough as the shoes she was put in gave her huge blisters and she refused to go back on set! mackays also said they are sending all the pics to kids london wether they are used or not so atleast ill get copies

i emailed the director of junior magazine the other day to find out if they could tell me if she is in the jan issue of junior and when it comes out, here is her reply!!

Your daughter is in the magazine but it is not a full page picture but runs
along the top edge of the feature.
If you send me your address we can send a couple of extra issue to you when the
magazine comes out which should be about the 8th - 10th December.

I would be so very cross if DD even got a red mark on her frm the clothes/shoes she was wearing let alone a blister, did you say anything?

Ellesmum,bet Elle did really well today.Bless her ,she isnt even 3 yet and the client would have made allowances for her age! Great news re Junior pics! The Junior peeps are really lovely.Cant wait to get my copy!.I have taken out subscription offer too (next 3 copies for £1)

mrsratty - they were trying on loads of different shoes on her, i told them her size and they kept saying they looked to big on her so they squeesed on shoes that were a size too small for her, i wasnt impressed, didnt say anything as was too busy trying to take dds mind off the blisters, poor little girl.
thinking about it now its really annoyed me! as i dont think she will be very willing to wear shoes now on jobs

wont be allowing that to happen again!

ellesmum congrats for elle being in junior, very exciting news! shame about the shoes, hopefully by the next time she has to wear them she'll have forgotten (kids never forget though, do they...).

got ds some medised so we'll see how it goes. he needs the paracetamol for his injection anyway so a little extra for his stuffy nose can't hurt. tink i hope you're feeling better!

DD has had shoes on which have been too small but she's never had to walk in them, she has been carried to the set. Also once they had to cut the backs off the shoes as they were three sizes to small.

mrsratty 3 times too small for her! i think dd got the blisters cos she was running around in them with out any socks. shes over it now though, she keeps making me laugh by saying "mummy ive got splinters in my feet"

Personally, I can't wait for the new thread!!! Getting lost again on this one!

elles - It is REALLY lovely that they do that for you! I am putting off a subscription and just buying copies when I know people's LOs will feature. Your DD did well considering her wee feet were bothering her for so long. Poor little mite!

Sha11 - TBH, I'd only put the girls forward for work which would be unlicensed. I am not sure what other people's experience has been but we've only needed two performance licenses in all the bits and bobs DS has done.

The phone rang while I was making dinner (french toast, naughty me!) and B&B confirmed DS for the Ted Baker shoot in December. You could have knocked me over with a feather! DS was so surprised he spilled golden syrup on his trousers. Julie, have you heard anything tonight?!?

hi littlemaddam, thanks, ive just had a look at her feet and they have gone down now, shes forgotton about it now. the mackays windows dispays will be out end of jan so not long really

evening all- well been thinking about it. we will not be turning down ted baker yet its what i am going to tell the ds if its on the play days. can you believe he is doing it def 2 days and a rehersal on another. my dds is that week too. the agent are calling the client to see if they have an exact date yet. the show will have to go on without him. ds says he doesn't care about school show (even though main part) and ted baker comes first! he has his priorities right. god do i sound like an ungrateful so and so. its the only week this year he has had something slightly important to do (apart from our house move!)

ellesmum- i feel sorry for your dds sore feet. i hope she is fine with shoes on jobs in the future bless her
