Hello........

I don't plan ever to go again. One was 3 years old the other 3 months old and we were dreading the flight but they both behaved like angels. The jet lag was horrendous, I sat in a hotel on the fourth night crying into my dinner I really never want to do it again!!!

As for Junior I know that Junior Pregnancy & Baby is out on Thursday but this only comes out every 3 months so maybe Junior will be out the same day?

My family are there, so have to go, but wouldn't go for less than 3 weeks as jet lag is horrid!! Before DS started school went for at least eight weeks at a time. Went a year ago with both children on my own, left DH to work .The flight was actually OK, but DD was still breastfed and not walking so just kept her full and sleepy! Bit worried this time

I'm sure DLM's DS is in this issue of Junior P and B too.

has anyones kids got a casting for VW cars tommorow at goodge st w1 tomorow?

LM i used saline drops on ds tonight, no easy task let me tell you, but it seems to have worked. no darth vader breathing while he had his bottle! good thing too because i didn't have a chance to get to the pharmacy.

thorntons the pic of your dd are excellent i can see why they used so many!!! i like the one in the red coat with the funny face, but the first one is really gorgeous too. does she love to see herself in print?

DLM,hope LO gets better very soon,glad to hear saline drops are helping! Thanks re dds pics .They used even more than I emailed ..Yep my fave is grumpy face..She did v well considering she was car sick -took 3 hrs to get there. Plus red coat pics she is standing on a swing trying to keep her trousers up at the same time! Tesco trews seem to be massive on her and there wasnt a belt.Luckily photographer fab and got his pics very quickly.

well i rang teh agent yesterday and advised of school nativity plays ds is unable to work and casually asked on t b casting as not heard. they hadn't heard and in a min called me back saying he had been penciled in. not sure if it will come to anything yet if so it will be next week. fingers and toes crossed.

do they always say this to quite a few kids and if you dont here its not good news and if you get a call all confirmed. i haven't had one of these before! any advise appreciated

Well done on the pencil Julie. Sometimes they pencil a few children to see who is available and then out of those children they pick the ones who will go well together. Fingers crossed you hear back. It hadn't occured to me to ring with the nativity dates!

There was a misprint in the december issue of when the next one is due out. It was probably supposed to say 7th, in which case I won't come until at least Friday. After all this palava DD probably won't even be in it!!!

need some advice urgently, girls school is not at all happy about them modelling!! so they will def not give permission or letter etc, told agency yest' that is there any point going to casting if they cant do the job next week, she said go along anyway and see if they get it. with unlicensed its not a problem just take the day off but with licensed need school letter?? so really confused and mad at the school - its not as if 2-3 hours off is going to be alot. what should i do?

How old are they? Perhaps you caould ring the licensing people at the council to ask for advice.

ellesmum- fingers crossed they pick my ds. as weren't eating prop last night we decided to go out at the end of the week to celebrate my birthday and my ds just cooked us steak and chips etc (which was nice what i ate)

sha11- have they said a licence is compulsary for the job. what a palava. my ds school have said everything ds does will go through as unauthorised absence yet he can do it. although the head mistress is leaving in april so hopefully the next one maybe more leniant.

am frantically trying to learn my ds words for school play. just dont want them wrong on the days! doing those and trying to due student script at moment. cant believe we wiped out a whole weekend of illness so couldn't practise or anything! got to cram lots more in before d days

Sha11 I would ring your Licensing Authority for advice, our works within the young peoples services sector. I know our guy has spoken to schools before, so perhaps yours will. It has got to be worth a try, incidently who have you spoken to at the school? and how old are your children?
