We are getting to the 1000 limit so I thought I would start a new happy thread!

lolly wow she is lovely

londonermum- yes they used to do it yet no longer I am afraid so the ones who do it already are very lucky. They have had problems with the childrens details being submitted for the same jobs by 2 agents. my ds was only allowed to join under the understanding that he can do the full package with b and b

julie4travel · 31/10/2006 12:32

right got to do some work plus trick or treating later so catch u all later

mrsratty · 31/10/2006 12:41

I have to go out and buy some suff for the trick or treaters. I really hate halloween, dp thinks we should stick the hosepipe through the letter box - let them all have a trick!!!!!

Welcome Londonermum!!
Good luck with your decision Lolalou, its always tough isn't it!
Anyone heard on the castings yet?? Still thinking positive thoughts!
I got Junior today, and was it Tink asked about the freebies, we get them I think, unless theres more I don't know about
Saw 2manypimms DS, its a lovly pic! 2manypimms I can scan and email if you want??? How did the trip go, no decisions yet?????
Julie, it is DS, he is very proud of that one!! We are promised posters when they come down

littlemadam · 31/10/2006 12:57

We're lucky on trick or treat, we are on a track, about half a mile from the road so nobody dares come down Does clip our wings for trick or treating too though!!

mrsratty · 31/10/2006 13:01

littlemadam - sounds good to me. The girls aren't going trick or treating as I really don't like it. They are happy enough with a pumpkin!!!

Tinkerbel5 · 31/10/2006 13:01

hello, welcome londonermum, mrsratty lol at your dp, thanks littlemadam re Junior, I will subscribe to it then if you get the little extras cause sometimes they give away DVD's and other little freebies.

mrsratty · 31/10/2006 13:03

Tinkerbel5 - Junior comes through the door with a massive thud, I don;tr think the postman likes me as with the magazine you get the freebies and loads of advertising too!

OP posts:
Tinkerbel5 · 31/10/2006 13:08

mrsratty I love freebies, I think sometimes they are worth more than a mag.

oh forgot, trick or treat, trick or treat, give me something good to eat, can you tell im bored

mich660 · 31/10/2006 13:11

hi lolalou
my 2 daughters are with rascals but we've only been with them for about 6 weeks. i think they're sole rep as well.

my elder daughter has had one audition and one job in that time, although they did say when joining babys don't get a lot of work.

i think they maybe only have about 300 on there books so i suppose more chance of getting put forward.

2ManyPimms · 31/10/2006 14:41

Hello all! Greetings and welcome to the new faces on the board as well!

Been ill since returning from Harrogate for the half-term break. Gotta take the wee ones to a Halloween Party tonight. I really, REALLY miss Halloween as done in the States. Alas.

LM - Thanks for everything! It was great to meet you and spend time with your family! I covet your house too, BTW! I would love for you to scan the photo if you wouldn't mind. Did they put the one in with the soldier costume as well? I will be SPRINTING up to WHSmith on Thursday morning! John decided that winters "up North" would be too depressing so it looks as though we are stuck looking down South for a place to live. Going to check out the local (and SMALL) branch of Mothercare for your DS's photograph.

Crikey - gotta go! Fetching DD from school. I was trying to read the most recent bit of the thread and got carried away!

mrsratty · 31/10/2006 15:51

2ManyPimms - where is your local Mothercare as I think you live fairly near me.

OP posts:
londonermum · 31/10/2006 16:12

2manypimms- that's strange, me and the family were up in Harrogate all half term visiting relatives! It's a beautiful town, but must admit the Northern weather was all too much for us southeners!

littlemadam · 31/10/2006 17:20

Pimms have sent it, but boobed the first time and sent HUGE pic, hope your computers recovered!!! Didn't see the soldier one, but this ones great for the old album!!! Sorry you won't be moving up here, I can get you discount cashmere though - tempted??? Having said that, they are far too free with their parking tickets

mythumbelinas · 31/10/2006 17:30

littlemadam, went shopping and saw the huge pic of your ds in Mothercare window dazzling pic!

2ManyPimms · 31/10/2006 17:32

LM - Ta so much! All is well with the 'puter. I received both messages! Shame about the soldier. Oh, well. Attempting to print it as we speak.

MrsR - There is one over in town in St. Albans - quite small and it seems to have primarily maternity and babywear.

Londoner - I didn't realise that there was SO much to do up in the area. We plan on going back and staying with friends sometime in early spring. In all the time we were there we didn't have time to get into York!

Dinner time!

Anyone expecting Trick-or-Treaters?

mythumbelinas · 31/10/2006 17:38

pimms, i'm expecting trick or treaters to come ringing my door bell, but i've been sooo busy, haven't bought any sweets this yr. so will 'hide'
kids not doing anything this year either!

yackertyyack · 31/10/2006 17:44

our doorbells not working! but ds is currently dressed up as a 3eyed monster so may send him to open the door!!!

mythumbelinas · 31/10/2006 17:49

ooh that's a good one yackerty our doorbell doesn't ring if you don't fully press it, and it's quite high up! dd's just have their pumpkin bucket with some treats.
ds sounds adorable

mrsratty · 31/10/2006 18:01

2ManyPimms - where abouts is it? I know there is a blooming marvellous but I didn't think there was a mothercare.
