thanks mimi, sha11 and yackerty, sounds good,i really hope they use her pics for at least 1 thing, my mum will be sooo proud he he, mimi, you really never know, his pics have a chance of being used, fingers crossed all the mn kids will be

yackerty, feeling quite good now, almost human, still get dizzy from time to time, but nothing too bad, i have my detailed scan on the 5th dec, still trying to decide wether to find out the sex or not, lani solved the dilemma for me last time as she kept her legs crossed and they couldnt tell.
still on the lookout for a decent pair of maternity jeans, have some from next but they fall down, the topshop ones feel really uncomfortable, i hate maternity clothes.......

lanismum · 30/10/2006 18:40

julie4travel · 30/10/2006 18:49

lulageorge - i think there is some members on child modelling.net there maybe one or two on here (there def used to be)

fingers crossed for you guys waiting on the mothercare one

no news on rightmove so very slim chance now, raga any news?

dylansluckymum · 30/10/2006 19:06

hi all, thanks for well wishes! it seemed to go well, i was very glad we went early because we only waited 5 mins and there were about 10 people waiting by the time we left. one aussie lady taking the pics all by herself! she did say ds has a 'divine' face tho, which whether he gets it or not is always nice to hear!!!

i have to say i was pretty stunned yesterday when he was looking up and i saw his top gums and saw all the teeth at the surface. he's only just 6 mos! could def explain why he was grumpy on holiday. he's hit a lot of stuff early it makes me kind of sad, i want him to stay a little baby for longer.

good luck to everyone waiting to hear on things and hope everyone has a busy week!

Tinkerbel5 · 30/10/2006 19:08

ellesmum · 30/10/2006 19:11

ellesmum · 30/10/2006 19:11

dlm - sounds promising, fingers crossed for u he gets it

dylansluckymum · 30/10/2006 19:40

cheers ellesmum. as much as i want him to get it (especially as it's for windows) i'm a bit apprehensive because it's another location shoot. i'm sure it'll be fine though, we're a bit more practiced at long journeys now so it shouldn't be as stressful as the last one... famous last words i'm sure!

ellesmum · 30/10/2006 19:54

just happened to look in the new issue of simply knitting magazine and saw a whole page of dd advertising kokobino disigner knitware website!! am really chuffed! if anyone else buys any knitting magazines could u look out for her pic??

julie4travel · 30/10/2006 20:22

superb ellesmum you must be proud - sorry not into knitting . ps my parents didn't have the commercial on in their area either! made my mum sit and look in between emmerdale

kikki · 30/10/2006 20:39

Hi
Can anyone offer any advice as to how I can get my son into modelling? He is four. A couple of my friends children do it and they are SO secretive about the whole thing and unhelpful.
My son is always getting stopped in the street and complimented(something he's obvilious too!).

Ragamuffin · 30/10/2006 20:44

julie.......not heard anything on Rightmove.....so probably a NO!

DLM......That sounds very promising if comments like that were made about your DS! Holding thumbs for you.

ellesmum · 30/10/2006 20:45

julie - thanks, dont really know what region the commercial was shown in maybe only norwich as it was advertising their bennetts show which is in norwich, when i work out how to save it to my computer i will email it to u so u can see it.

kikki- if you send some recent snap shots of your son to bruce and brown, kids london, mot and urban angels along with his age and height. go to childmodelling.net tere are a list of good child modelling agencies on their.
good luck.

julie4travel · 30/10/2006 20:57

kikki - my advise is dont sign up to teh first agency. spend your time and do your research as there have been a few scam agencies about. Cm net has profiles based on parents advise on the agents. i brought a good book called something like modelling and acting guide to read up the pros and cons before starting - it was a good read. i will try and post a link tommorow on it.

remmeber nove thread starts soon everyone (i had a few emails the last 2 months asking where the thread is!!)

Raga thought you may have heard, maybe tommorow? being hopeful!

Ellesmum that will be great to nose at if you can manage it!

Logging off now

good luck with any castings etc this week. My kids back to school tommorow. our dora and yoda pumpkins are outside and they look good (my dh did them)

kikki · 30/10/2006 20:59

Thanks ellesmum
My friend models for MOT(adults) in Berkhamsted I didn't know they had a kids division. Will try the ones you suggested.

yackertyyack · 30/10/2006 21:11

Lanis - the mothercare catalogue is out end of jan!! God that seems a long time away doesn't it!!! Will let you know as soon as i get a copy! Glad you are feeling human again....Its a shame you are not due now as there have been about 4 jobs recently for newborn babies!! Big movie ones too!!!
