She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

My niece had a pre-Christmas drinks do at her house this evening. As I hadn't been out of the house in a week, I made the effort to go. I'm glad I did. It gave me the chance to see most of the people I'll see at Christmas. It also gave me the chance to have a quiet word with my SIL to ask her to recommend a divorce lawyer. I've had a letter from ex's solicitors so now need advice.

I found an asian cookery website and have bought 90% of the stocking/tree presents that I need
It helps that my DC are all independent adults with kitchens that need equipping

On another darker side, my nieces cat is so ill after drinking anti- freeze. He is only two and is one of a pair ( brothers ) . I don't know wether someone has done this on purpose. I can't believe that people can be so cruel if they have done this.his whole body has been poisoned and it's affected his kidneys. She is so upset.

Hi Zombie, I'm late posting tonight as we have been over dd,s house tonight, not been home long.
First of course I hope your day has been ok and calm.
Secondly the cat is still alive. He has some sort of drip in his paw but he is actually sitting up so maybe there is hope for him. He has to have another blood test, not sure what for, to test to see about the toxins ? His brother has now also been sick and had blood test today, but is still at home, and not as ill as his brother.
