Evening my lovelies!
I have been sleeping a lot. Not all on UK time. Both Wednesday night and last night I didn't go to bed until 3.00/4.00am. I then slept until midday and yesterday also had a 4 hour nap. I have strenuously resisted that temptation today and hope to be in bed somewhat earlier tonight. Maybe. Depending on what catches my eye on late night telly.
Virginia is starting to feel like a dream. It was just so incredibly amazing and not just with ZombieLad. It was also great to get to spend so much time with my uncle. Not to forget the chance to spend a bit of time with half a dozen or so very, very dear friends.
I plan to wrap up very warmly and go out tomorrow for a bit of shopping. I need food (although the ZombieCats are still well catered for). I also desperately need inspiration for Christmas presents. Oh, and I must start writing Christmas cards. I really haven't sent any for a few years and I must do so this year.
I know you all want tales of what I did with ZombieLad but the truth is that we basically just hung out together. We talked. We hugged. We cried. We laughed. He and my uncle got on well and ZLad intends to spend time with uncle. Most of my friends also got to meet ZLad and they all loved him. A couple even remarked that not only do we look a lot alike but we also have similar mannerisms. I'm happy with that.
Shopping. Yes, I did do some shopping. I've come home with 14 new polo neck / similar tops. The average price was $10 each. That's about £6.75 each. I love them because instead of itchy tags in the neck the tag info is printed. I was also able to replace my beloved Timex watch with the same model. The old one had a chipped face and was getting difficult to read. The watch was also on sale so I got two!
I found a vape juice I really like so stocked up on that. Then I wandered into Duty Free at Dulles and found that they were selling 10 x 50gm packs of Golden Virginia for $72.00. That's $7.20 or £4.80 a pack. It's over £17 a pack here in the UK. Oops...
