The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

Let the chat commence!

Oh Lovely Zombie what wonderful news for you ( and DBF team ) under control can do for now, and we can all hope it can be even better than that in the future. So glad you came back to get some positive news. Wine for you.

sassytheFIRST · 03/12/2014 21:18

That IS good news. Keep hanging in there Zombie. Life in the resurrected animated corpse yet :-)

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 03/12/2014 22:56

You and me both YeGods Grin which is enough for me to know good news when I see it.

So let's get those corks popping!

But Zombie, sorry, am I understanding right, that we thought the nasties on your liver hadn't been reduced by the last lot of chemo etc, but in fact they have, they've shrunk?

So chuffed you've come back to good news sweetheart Flowers

clinkagogo !

ChippingInAutumnLover · 03/12/2014 22:56

Fantastic news. WHOOP WHOOP WHOOP. Indeed!

Bastard cancer in it's box. Score!

magimedi · 03/12/2014 23:09

Whoopie do dah Day!

Zombie, if I were you I'd be booking a flight back to the US asap, given that news.

Make the most of that report & go for it.

IamtheZombie · 03/12/2014 23:11

Thank you so much all of you lovely, lovely people.

LURKERS, please don't be shy - join in with the madness.

Yes, BBB, that's exactly right. The CT scan I had in the middle of October appeared to show no change to the 2 lesions on my liver. But the MRI in the middle of November shows that they are no longer visible. They've shrunk to miniscule proportions or have been eliminated completely.

They could start re-growing or new ones could pop up at any time but for right now I'm celebrating whatever extra time this may have given me.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 03/12/2014 23:32

Lightweight Grin

Tut!

It's very rarely a different story in the morning.

IamtheZombie · 03/12/2014 23:34

But, magi, I haven't finished my bottle of bubbly yet. It will be flat in the morning. AND it will help me sleep. Grin

magimedi · 03/12/2014 23:35

Ha- fucking- ha, BBB.

I might have had a sad morning last Sunday - but at least I caught the right train. Grin

Had I not done so it might well have been 'a different story'.

I could 'ave h'ended up in 'Astings - where even the tide is afraid to come in!! Grin

magimedi · 03/12/2014 23:36

Glad to see you back Zombie, and with such positive scan-news! (And presumably now a slight hangover Grin)

Are you planning another trip to the US? Or is ZombieLad coming here?

mummylin2495 · 04/12/2014 10:57

Hi Zombie, hope you have had a good nights sleep and now have caught up, did you get to speak to your DS last night. I bet he will miss you being around.what a roller coaster you have been on for the last few months, but you have coped admirably and you so deserve the good news you had yesterday. Do you have to go out for groceries today or do you have enough in to manage ?

ZingOfSeven · 04/12/2014 11:19

Brilliant news about MRI Zombie

but my theory is that ZombieLad hugged you and the nasty things disappeared.

I hope you're starting to feel refreshed Zombie, it takes a while to 'land' properly after an epic trip.

I guess you were already broken in to the cold so haven't had the sudden shock some of us have.

What's on for the w/e? And have you got a plan for Christmas?

Allalone what a sterling job you're doing, genius breakfast Grin
