Hoping today hasn't been too unbearable for you, in my thoughts.

I have slept a lot, eaten enough and generally got through today. I will get through tonight, tomorrow and as many days as it takes.

Just keep the thought that you have only 1 more treatment to go Zombie. You handle everything so well, you are to be greatly admired. Sleep well

Darling Z you are a star, a rock and a legend.

You will indeed get through all of it and come out the other side shining.

I'm still here but I still feel like crap. It should pass in another day or so. I just hope the cancer is feeling as bad as I am.

On the bright side, my sense of taste is rapidly returning.

I have been sleeping a lot. As long as I take some pain killers I can get at least 4 hours. At night I'm getting 10 or so. That's all adding up to about 16 - 18 hours a day.

It would be nice if tomorrow is better but I'll get through it even if it isn't.

Rest is good, maybe keep a stock of books to hand for when you wake through the night? You probably do that already.

I hope your next 24 hours will be better than the last. Sounds like its a bit tough at the moment for you. Are you able to eat ok ? As BBB said, it does seem to be better for you if you sleep a lot and it seems you are at the moment. Any visitors due to come and see you ?

That's rough Zombie, but good that your taste is returning.

I guess eat and sleep as much as you can, drink plenty ( water not whisky!) and if today isn't better, tomorrow will be.

Yesterday was much like the previous few. I had a very disturbed night. I had to stop the cocodamol a couple of days ago due to its effect on my digestive tract. (Ahem.) I was in bed by 11.00 but couldn't get to sleep. I came back down at 2.30 and took more ibuprofen and sleepy pills. That worked to get me to sleep and I had a fitful 5 hours.

Having said that, I did feel somewhat better today. The all pervasive aches and pains had receded a fair bit. I decided to carpe diem and went grocery shopping. I know I will pay for this tomorrow (and the day after) but at least I have plenty to eat now.

Glad you had a better day, hunker down get some rest and yummy foood. Hopefully you will start to feel better soon.

Rest as much as you can Zombie. Is there the option for Internet shopping perhaps if you are not feeling up to going out? Difficult I know, as going out might give you a bit of a lift.

Glad to see that you felt a little better,many progress is better than none ! At least you now have your stocks in after going shopping. You will maybe be able to catch up on your sleep during today. Fingers crossed that your shopping trip hasn't added to your discomfort today

All, internet shopping would be the option of last resort for me. Part of it is that, yes, getting out of the house is important. Use by dates are very important. I try to plan my meals for 4 or 5 days so I like to rummage for the longest dated items. I'm also not keen on substitutions.

Bee, no weekend plans. Niece is in Germany for a few weeks with work. Birmingham friend is frantic with prep for the upcoming uni year. She'll be teaching for the first time as well as the research for her dissertation.

mummy, I did catch up on sleep - both last night and today.
