Thats what i was thinking ,about the cost of the garden its made me think i could make a fortune with mine !
my dh wallked right into one of the HUGE spider webs

dylansluckymum · 16/09/2006 18:00

i don't think it's isabel's fault in the least i think when they had to find another photographer and location at short notice it maybe didn't turn out quite like they'd planned. i thought maybe the photographer was hungry because isabel was trying to go out to get her lunch when we arrived at 2pm but from what i'm hearing she was like that in the am too?

lindac · 16/09/2006 18:01

Yes Isabell was lovly and it wss nice to meet her,
some peole came from so far away
Where do you all live ? did you hhave far to travel ?

tavalana · 16/09/2006 18:25

sorry to hear about your experience at the cm.net shoot. we had a lovely time and isabel was very nice and despite what many have said i actually liked the garden as it looked very wild. ds1 had more photos taken than ds2 but it was ok the photographer wasn't the nicest i've met but she showed me the photos and tried to be nice. traffic was horrendous though dss were not happy when we got there but i found it ok.

kerryarron · 16/09/2006 18:34

I must have been lucky today lol! After taking 3 hours to get there (instead of 1.5!), I thought the photographer was lovely! We had loads of pictures taken too, she showed them too me and some of them were gorgeous (not that I'm biased haha).

I think the outdoor setting was quite nice too, makes a change from studios ;p Plus ds was facinated by the spiders!

ellesmum · 16/09/2006 18:37

hi dylansmum ive just emailed you, was lovely 2 meet u and dylan, hes such a cutie!

the shoot was a lot different from the farnbough shoot, the photographer at farnbough was really good and great with the kids 2 unlike the photographer from today! never mind! feel sorry for all of u who came from far the traffic was a nightmare! my dd was having none of it today as she had a bad night last night and was very tired. it was nice seeing isabel and dylans mum though.

isabel said they will be using one of the pics of my dd from the farnbough shoot for the new website so that will be nice.

bluetiger · 16/09/2006 18:42

hi, my ds is lucca, we was spose to be going to the cm shoot today at 2pm well.........we got lost and traffic was really bad, it took 2 hours just to get to ikea, we carried on but the traffic was absolutly mental, we was already half hour late, so instead we just turned back, and spent the afternoon in ikea. Then got lost on the way home, and after leaving at 11am we have just got home!! doesnt seem like we missed out on alot anyway.

bluetiger · 16/09/2006 18:42

ohh and can i just add, that Lucca got his first tooth today !! so proud

kerryarron · 16/09/2006 18:45

Aww, how old is he?

tavalana · 16/09/2006 18:47

ellesmum - do you live close to the place we went for shoot? i'm not too far from them.

thomp · 16/09/2006 18:50

was this a professional shoot? sounds awful

bluetiger · 16/09/2006 18:53

he is 7 months born 8th feb, i was gutted i couldnt go, was really looking forward to it.

kerryarron · 16/09/2006 18:55

Aww, my ds is 7 months too

You should have gone - I was REALLY late and thought they would turn me away but I think most people were late!

tavalana · 16/09/2006 18:56

thomp - not a professional shoot really and for most people it wasnt awful so i guess they just didnt get it right with one or two isnt it?

PhoenixGirl · 16/09/2006 18:59

Bluetiger-My ds was born 9th Feb

thomp · 16/09/2006 19:03

tavalana - it sounds like only one person had loads of shots taken and loved the horrid garden and photographer, Not quite one or two but there ya go? I wouldnt want to take my kid to something that sounds like that anyway

dylansluckymum · 16/09/2006 19:07

i don't think it was awful just a bit slap dash. i liked the way the garden was overgrown but it was very tiny. anyway none of that matters if they got some good pics out of it!!! i agree that isabel is lovely and i'm glad we went if nothing else just to meet her and we met ellesmum and the gorgeous elle too! also dp got to see what ds is like in action.

we came from camden so basically clear across central london. note to self - next time take the train!!!

bluetiger · 16/09/2006 19:09

this is a few pics :)

thomp · 16/09/2006 19:16

what a cutie - he has lovely eyes!

tavalana · 16/09/2006 19:17

thomp - well then i have to be the second person plus all the others the were there at the same time as me and dss isnt it? some people just like to be nasty full stop. i bet it was a good experience for most people.

tavalana · 16/09/2006 19:18

bluetiger - your ds is very cute

ellesmum · 16/09/2006 19:21

bluetiger - your ds is lovely!

tavalana - yes i live close to wandsworth, i live in putney where do u live? still took me half an hour to get there cos of the traffic!

PhoenixGirl · 16/09/2006 19:36
