For some reason it is telling me that the thraed is to large to post again.

Mrratty> Im not really sure how they are taking the pics. The location that we have been given is Farnbourgh, I dont know if others have different locations.

Hi everyone, I posted on this thread for the first time at the end of last week saying dd had been shortlisted for the Ambi Pur TV commercial, well - we heard a few hours ago that she got it. She is very excited as it's her first TV commerical.

Shoot is scheduled for early Sept.

Not sure how many girls were needed, Quad/MyKids, did your girls get called too from the shortlist too ?

hi strawbs- hope you are ok. we r away at weekend then back to school mon so trying to get prepared labelling clothes etc! plus dd starting ballet yet she has lost the elastic for the ballet shoes to tighten them up and also the elastic i am supposed to sew in them. she keeps wearing them round the house, so somehow i have got to adapt some ballet shoes to stay on her feet! no castings recently? noubt for us apart from the star now ones

Hi julie >nothing for us, so boring, i have just been over the town to finish off school shopping, ds starts the seniors this year, so he has had to have absoloutly everything.

I hope your daughter enjoys ballet, bless her little heart.

Wow that was quick! I emailed CM about 10 mins ago re the shoot in farnborough (coz we only live 5 mins down the road) and have just had a reply with a time of 2pm on the 3rd Sept, so hopefully see some of you there! Woooo Lola's first shoot!

cyan , yes it was. I met a mum on the train on the way there going to the same casting with her son who was only two days younger than my ds, he was also from bma and very cute, anyway we exchanged numbers and she text me late fri night to say that her son got it, and they might want to use her in it as well.

Do you think the photoshoot at cm.net is genuinelly for marketing material?

I only ask as mostly everyone I know who applied has been given a day/time and no-one I know was turned down.
Im probably being sceptical but it seems to be just like a slot with a photographer so you can buy the photos Im wondering whether it may just be a way for the photographer to sell his pictures and set up like a "photoshoot" to get mums in??

They only need a handfull of kids for the website and leaflets so the majority wont get onto anything but I bet will buy photos!!

Is it really a geniune photoshoot then or just a nice way of getting cheap pictures of your child?

Sorry of this offends anyone Im just a little unsure as they have taken on so many kids.

educatingrita - my youngest was turned down by cm.net. i agree that they only need a few kids but from what they said on the document they sent the photos will be used on leaflets, folders, brochures as well as their website and im sure they want a variety of looks and ages and races. a photo shoot for no reason sounds like too much of a hassle.

re educatingrita i do think its all for marketing etc as they want to send details to teh modelling agencies to promote the site etc. I said I maybe able to put a flier in clients ticket wallets as I don't mind helping to get to a wider audience
