For some reason it is telling me that the thraed is to large to post again.

Mrratty> Im not really sure how they are taking the pics. The location that we have been given is Farnbourgh, I dont know if others have different locations.

Probably not relevant .....but have you been told that the photos you get will be free?? Only saw this posting on starnow:

We're currently looking for a photographer to take photos for our website and marketing material. Photographer must have references, experience with children's photography and an online portfolio.This is an unpaid job but you will have the opportunity to sell the pictures to the parents of the children.

I agree that its an excellent experience and I am more than happy to pay for good photos of my babies but just wondered if any of you had been told you can buy the photos???

hi yackerty- we will be given a copy of the photos used on their website (not all will be used) and the option to buy photos at a reasonable price. There is no obligation to buy. I asked the question yesterday as I wanted to know if i could buy extra if i like them.

i talked to carly from cm.net now and asked her about the pictures and she said the advert doesn't have anything to do with this photo shoot. she also said that everyone will get a few copies of the marketing material but only the ones that appear on the website will get a poster of the photograph used. they mentioned the option of buying the photos but there's no obligation. i hope they get nice photos of my boys. i don't mind buying them if it's reasonable price.

My e-mail said I'd get copies of marketing material, and it had prices for the optional photos (she did stress there was no obligation to buy) - the cheap package is five 6"x4" and one 8" by 10" for £30. Single 6x4 is £4. So not much different from school/toddler group photo prices, which is good!

i think those photo prices are good! i have paid loads before for good pictures! yes i think everyone will get a copy of marketing material, hopefully we will be able to promote the site especially if our kids are on it!!!!!

agree the prices are good - you don't mind paying for decent photos.
Julie - still not heard anymore about the catalogue so I am guessing they don't need DS!

yackerty- i haven't heard either, or has izzy? its funny after they said they have been shortlisted no further info though. Have you emailed them asking when we will find out?

Yep I was told the same, any pics used on the site we will recieve a copy of and we will also recieve the leflets etc.
I think that the prices are very good, providing they are good quality, I have paid much much more than that for pics in the past.

Hopefully may see a few of you next Sunady then.

just had a look on starnow and cm net have put a new advert on there looking for more children for the photo shoot? thought they already chosen?

ellesmum and tink- i will prob be early so sure i will bump into you guys, hopefully there will be some place for a drink before her turn. so if you are done more than happy for you to join me. my dd is on cm yet i think page 4 , Mya so u can see who i am as i have seen who your kiddies are (she isn't 2 anymore she is now three)
yack- are you waiting to hear on star now thing for one or two kiddies?
