As most of you know, I'm having my second mastectomy on Thursday. I will almost certainly need to have more chemotherapy.

This is my thread for those who wish to walk beside me on my journey.

Keeping everything crossed here for you Zombie that bloods are good and you can go home. How are you actually feeling in yourself ?

Delurking. I am a fairly regular name-changer so you won't know me Zombie, but I've just read through this whole thread and wanted to wish you well.

I hope those pesky neutrophils sort themselves out so you can get home later on.

However...

I reported loose stools this morning so they're holding me another few hours to make sure it's just my IBS and nothing more sinister. I had a loperimide just before lunch and all has been well behaved since.

Sometime this evening, I WILL be HOME!!!

Doctor has just looked in. I told her (honestly) that bowels are now behaving perfectly. She gave me the thumbs up.

I'll need to wait for discharge meds and instructions. Sarah is either on the water or in the water this evening (rowing or swimming) this evening so can't collect me until after 8.30 anyway. But at least I know I will snuggle the ZombieCats and sleep in my own bed tonight!

Very very happy to see that you can go home. Nothing like your own bed and home comforts around you.Im sure that the Zombie cats will be queuing up for their cuddles.
