As most of you know, I'm having my second mastectomy on Thursday. I will almost certainly need to have more chemotherapy.

RIP Desdemona Drain. You were a worthy companion but I'm afraid I won't really miss you.

No post today. I know there are a few more cards on their way. I guess this means I get to keep celebrating tomorrow!

I've been very remiss about something. I see that several of you sent me messages while I was in hospital. Unfortunately because of the holiday the PALS office wasn't open so I didn't receive them. Last time the hospital sent a couple on to me after I was discharged. I hope they do the same this time. My thanks to all who were kind enough to send them.

Zombie, have just been reading through your threads - I just wanted to wish you well with your on-going treatment. I finished chemo for BC at the end of Jan; the thought having to go through that again scares me, but I accept it's a real possibility. You have to do what you have to do huh? Big hugs to you, you brave, strong lady.
