QueenPeaHead · 21/08/2006 09:19

cupcakes · 21/08/2006 09:22

mrspink27 · 21/08/2006 09:30

NotActuallyAMum · 21/08/2006 09:33

bogwobbit · 21/08/2006 09:35

Used to live in Edinburgh, and for £1m you could buy this
All right it's not quite £1 but I thought it was rather nice

SherlockLGJ · 21/08/2006 09:36

Northerner

Bet that is one of the houses, built in the garden of a bigger house in the Duchy.

Fimbo · 21/08/2006 09:37

This is only £695,000 (well offers over) in my home town .

Will look in Norwich (where I now live)

katzg · 21/08/2006 09:37

bang on the money you could buy this in the Sheffield area
£1,000,000

Fimbo · 21/08/2006 09:38

I meant to add it is the most expensive property up for sale at the moment!

hulababy · 21/08/2006 09:39

This is for sale on my esate, newly reduced though to just under £700,000. Was only for more before the weekend though.

For £1.1 million, you can have this 5 bed house. Really good area in good school catchments.

elliott · 21/08/2006 09:41

I think house prices are crazy where we are. I mean, I don't think these are particularly special, do you? Are we the only city where £900K doesn't even get you a garden??

We have been going round in circles for the last 2 years about moving - we have a reasonable budget but I just can't bring myself to spend half a million on a very ordinary town house with no garden to speak of...

quite nice but nearly a million quid??

no garden

Joolstoo · 21/08/2006 09:41

£1,250,000

ledodgyrobespierre · 21/08/2006 09:42

it's pink!

Joolstoo · 21/08/2006 09:43

exactly 1 mill

colditz · 21/08/2006 09:44

quite a lot, it seems

hulababy · 21/08/2006 09:44

Sheffield is a funny city. One half you can get plenty of properties int he highest bracets. Move into the erbyshire borders and you;ll get big sprawling places too. Then go back to the seocnd half of the city and you can pick up large properties for much less than £100k

MarsLady · 21/08/2006 09:44

these

schneebly · 21/08/2006 09:44

this was the most expensive I could find nearby! It isnt even a whole house and needs some updating but the views are nice.
