I had a friend who had swanky red leads for her cats-do you fancy leashing the Zee cats amid the peacocks.

Flowers and feline frissons!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 22/02/2014 23:35

You still haven't told me how many a phalanx is.

Zombie is chief flower girl, if she dares!

Can we introduce a new aspect to weddings? I've never seen a thread on MN about animals at weddings.

Would it need to be cats only? Dogs only? Which would be compatible with horses.

Mr. and Mrs BBB request the pleasure of the company of you and your hamster/gerbil/snake.
Please tick menu preferences.

sanssoleil · 22/02/2014 23:53

I really really don't like snakes.

Pandas and snowleopards are my fave animals

We would have to have an animal nanny so no inter species sex hanky panky occurred.

The animals would have to be on the childrens table tent

I fancy riding a zebra in my Tilda Swinton aura

hth

sanssoleil · 22/02/2014 23:57

phalanx is just greekish?? for gang??-as in a configuration* of albino peacocks

We need to find how the peacocks prefer to refer to themselves too-not au fait here with peacock terminology for 'albinism'

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 23/02/2014 01:47

The white peacocks I've seen are certainly in the "hello! i'm blond, I'm over here. yoohoo" camp.
I'd love to ride a zebra, they're sooooo chic! Without even getting dressed.
And there we part company a bit I'm afraid.
I love snakes.
I would probably love a panda or a snow leopard if I met one.

What's the aversion to inter species hankypanky?
Is that not what promotes evolution?

We should devote our special day to tolerance and experimentation for the benefit of our planet.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 23/02/2014 01:48

Big sigh all.

Going to bed Grin

sanssoleil · 23/02/2014 03:45

Zebras sexing snowleopards has to be wrong?

I thought that interspecies sexing, that is two beasts, two backs dtd caused a lot of problems, infertile offspring? It is MN, I am sure a zookeeper/curator of animals we be along shouting the toss with an expert opinion.

I think the snakes may be a dealbreaker.......

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 23/02/2014 22:29

I won't bring a snake to the ceremony I promise.

I'm sure you're right about the biology sol, I fear I may have been spouting un peu de bolleaux last night Grin

So early night tonight.

sanssoleil · 23/02/2014 22:33

Grin-pretty sure inter-species sex progeny are infertile etc......

Sweet dreams of chasing Zebras and cuddling pandas.Smile

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 18:44

Good grief, I feel completely wrung out after the last couple of hours.

Zombie was very brave.

Very large Wine all round Smile

IamtheZombie · 24/02/2014 19:41

How was Zombie brave, Bee?

Has she done something she's forgotten about already??

OP posts:
BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 19:42

I'll PM you.

sanssoleil · 24/02/2014 19:52

I felt bad that 'something' wasn't 'right' but just assumed shock....

Never been through a range of emotions so fast.ShockSadAngrySad

Wine all round

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 20:19

Well quite, it's not surprising that someone isn't quite themselves if they were in those circumstances is it?

I'm just so relieved at the denoument.

ExitPursuedTheRoyalPrude · 24/02/2014 20:57

Agree. I feel completely drained.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 21:45

I'm really concerned that S P is maybe in shock and the whole thing hasn't really hit her yet.
I hope she's got good support to call on tomorrow.

Sorry Zomb, we should stop this here.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 23:03

I remembered just in time that I'm supposed to fast tonight for a blood test tomorrow, whoops!

So it'll be another early night with my book Smile

IamtheZombie · 24/02/2014 23:09

No reason to stop discussing it here, Bee.

It's really shaken MN to its core. Zombie was very glad to see Justine's post on the thread in Site Stuff.

What are you reading? Zombie is just about to finish Apple Tree Yard.

OP posts:
sanssoleil · 24/02/2014 23:11

Is it a good book Bee?

I have got to have a blood test tomorrow-no fasting involved here, but don't think anything 'interesting' to eat-maybe a log of goatcheese, but I couldn't eat a whole log......?? Flowers

IamtheZombie · 24/02/2014 23:23

So, that 2 blood tests and a mammogram for the Dustbin™ tomorrow. We're keeping the NHS on its toes. Wink

OP posts:
sanssoleil · 24/02/2014 23:32

Apple Tree Yard is in my wishlist Zee

I am about to embark on my xmas present the Donna Tartt The Goldfinch

If nothing else it will be musclebuilding

Good luck to everyone being 'tested' tomorrow

I did cry a lotSad

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 23:34

Life after Life, just getting to like it a third of the way in!

I only ever read in bed and usually crash quickly so take a while to get engrossed.

A whole log of goat cheese is probably not the best thing to induce sleep sol!

I'd prescribe hot chocolate with large dash cognac Smile

sanssoleil · 24/02/2014 23:44

It took me ages to read Life after Life-The poor book looks very 'lived' and 'bathed' in-not sure the church bookstall will home it in the jumble Blush

I am very munchy but it is freezing downstairs....

I only have gin which will make meSad more but thanks Dr Bee Iwill use your services again Smile

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 24/02/2014 23:55

Did you hate the book then?

Don't drink the gin!

sanssoleil · 25/02/2014 00:05

I think I prefer her earlier stuff,thats all,friend a big fan

Nah,gave up on gin a long long time ago.
