littlemadam- i am going to see what i think on thurs, will prob go with them as i am concerned about my ds missing out on modelling at the moment, yet we will see

perfume- just had the casting on Thurs where my ds couldn't attend as my ds birthday. yet i still think 2 castings in just over a month - 1 month and a half is great. just hope he gets something soon (fingers crossed)

Strwb- at least carole has said she has been put for things, hopefully the work will roll in soon. i thought it was dd on both those pictures on that page yet i couldn't get in closer on one to double check. that job was through bk wasn't it?

ellesmum you can still do the casting with kl and see what b and b have to offer. when i met carole with cs i instantly new i wanted my ds to work with her if we could. both me and my hubbie took an instant likeing to her. i think what you see is what you get so i am hoping it will be the same with b and b as people seem to think they are very good and people are happy with them.

Cant beleave it carole has just rang and dd has audition for monday and i have just booked the tickets to chessington for monday

strawb- oh no- can u transfer the tickets? surely u should have been given some free ones for her modelling on their web!!!! is it an early audition , can both be done? what a dilema!

I have phoned chessington and they said we can change to tuesday will have to pay £5 extra which is not a lot. But the audition is a photoshoot and im worried that jade has lost 2 teeth so they wont want her for stills, cs said that it dosnt matter, really not sure what to do.

strawb- ds did stills last year and he had lost his teeth it wasn't a problem. everyones criteria is different so i wouldn't worry! he didn't have a casting on it. does that mean u would have to get a licence as its stills then? at least u can change the tickets, hopefully work will flood in now. I didn't realise how many girls carole had on her books now, seems there is pages of kids! all looking different though

strawberry ive been with kids for 2 and half weeks. what is the casting for on monday, ive got casting the same day for stills with a knitting company.

who is carol and cs agency???????

Cs management is a theatre agency, carole is the lady who owns it. They mainly deal in tv, film, commercials and vo.

If i was you i would go to b&b to see what they have to say, but i would give kl a while as things dont normally just happen overnight.

Were not going to the audition, have spoke to jade and it was mean her missing gym and she has a very important comp coming up and is struggling with some moves, also some of the other people coming to chessington cant change days, its so annoying, but the thing is she hasnt definatley got job.

thats a shame, thanks 4 the advice hope u have a lovely day at chessington and dont have 2 que 4 2 long 4 the rides, it is a great day out 4 kids.

thats a shame strawb, if thurs casting had of purely bin the job instead of the casting i would have changed the party times to grab the opportunity whilst he can. I had been hoping that they didn't select on the day and wanted more choice! i am sure something else will come up soon, fingers crossed! lovely and warm here today

Quick question, My dd's photo shoot with bgum isn't till Sept. Do you think she'll get any castings before then?

princessmel- will they use her details for castings before the photoshoot? some agents do some dont so its best to ask the question. eg ts shoot is in oct and they do not use the new childrens details till 01 jan 07 when the new model book is released, whereas norrie carr would use the details straight away. I asked these agencies the question when i was looking.

when you go to bruce and brown is it best to get off at notting hill and is it far to walk? this is aimed at anyone with them

Hi Julie, I'll ask. I know it said in the welcome pack that since they have put the model book on a disc as soon as the pics are done they can go in the 'book' whereas when it was a real book they only updated it once a year. Don't know whether she'll be able to do things before then though. Our shoot is Sep 9th. Its in Wood Green which is where dh was born so he'll know where to go! At least I won't get lost on my first trip to London. Mike Good is doing the pics, aparantly he's been around a while.

princessmel- hopefully they would get you on the books straight away. i know nc said i could use photos which i have already as a temp thing for them to hold on file as i brought them with the copyright, yet all agencies are different.

its funny originally bubblegum said no to my ds and then i resubmitted and they said yes yet only if he could do tv work aswell with them. thats why i didn't book the appointment as i really want to stay with cs management as I am happy with them. Its amazing the change in heart after say 6 months!

Yes that is strange. Has he changed much? Maybe his age group/look is more in demand now with them than it was before?

mimi - did kids tell u it was for rowan when they called u 4 the casting because all they said 2 me was it was 4 a knitting pattern company, which is a bit confusing??? am going 2 ring them mon morning 2 ask them the name and more about the compny.

It's not far, maybe 10 mins. They are part of a big building, and the office is on the second floor I think, though there is an interview type room near reception. Hope that is some help!!

hi ellesmum yeah they said it was for rowan designer knitwear, when they called, for the casting, bet ur excieted i love castings, think they are such fun, but then we have been lucky with all of the ones we have been too, so thats probably why i love them, think its nice to meet other mums, etc as well and also give me some time out, have a firend in london who i meet for lunch which is always nice, well i have my fingers crossed for elle, and i hope she gets the job, xx
