We had an email back about this yesterday ..... has anyone else???

yackerty- i got an email today asking for my dds picture to be emailed over as i put on annitial application i have a three year old too?

was your email to say our kids had been selected?

.....it just asked for more photos. I haven't responded yet as I am not sure what to do.....it was a private address which I was a bit wary of. Has anyone got back to you with further details??

yackerty whats your NAPM id and i will email you teh email address they replied to me from to see if the same etc

hi people havent been on here for a while as nothing much on the modelling front. just to let you know we are going to do the meet up on the 17th of september, sunday, at gambado in chelsea.

please can people interested confirm they cna make it, and ill see if we can make a booking or something to make sure there's space for us all.

i would be a bit cautious of the starnow thing, it's nice that they will give you pics but do u even know who the client is? id just be a bit wary, hopefully some of you guys will prove me wrong tho!!!

hi cyan, how's things? good luck with casting tomorrow.

must admit starnow has so many differant opinions, i think cyans caution is something we all need reminding of period. i have found that usually when you get further than the short list that you do find out who the production company is etc, but if you don't then i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. not so long back they had a little people advert with hardly any details and it did turn out to be a very well established and well known agengy and the casting was for a blockbuster film, so you can find some good stuff on there but you must be on your guard. this is the reply i got yesturday at 10.00pm!! from the starnow catalogue post:

cyan- i got that email when i submitted when it was originally posted. yet i had one last night 2142pm asking for my dds pictures to be emailed. i wonder if we are being considered then? I saw the listing is no longer on star now too. hopefully we will hear soon and not 10 o clock at night again!

DD's jobs went well on Monday, she was wearing some really cool clothes for the #junior shoot and I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will be used! DD has also been pencilied in for the Asda job she did the casting for last week.

mythumbelinas - thanks for picking up the broucures. I already have quite a few as I can't resist picking them up!

we confirmed the booking for 10:30am, are you also going?

well done on your three, i cant even remember what date it was for was it 7th sep?

yackertyyack - they sent the contacts and said they would send one of their brochures but i'm still waiting for it

julie4travel - yes 10:30am on the 07/09, I read that someone got a definite 'no' so maybe they're still considering your kids

Julie, it sounds as though they let you know either way so they must still be interested.
Tavalana, did you sign your eldest ds with kids in the end???

yackertyyack - no, bruce and brown changed their mind and accepted my eldest, i liked kids london but thought it'd be better if they were all with the same agent, not sure if he's on their website yet but no work yet hope he gets something soon as he's very keen on it.

cyan I have had a call this eve about channel 5 casting tomorrow, it will be our first one so am quite nervous, not sure what to expect.

tavalava- i put on my ds application after school time on that day only as I didn't want time off for unpaid work really, I bet they say no then as yours is early. Never mind some you win some u loose. I am pleased he has got the little bit in the film on the 9th. Hope the licence gets granted on time though!
