had call from agency asked enthusiastically if ds was walking, when i said yes they say oh no we need someone that can stand and not walk! u cant win..if i had said no..they would hav said we need a confident walker (lanismum-remember mothercare job) ignore me just stressed with buildind work going on and 3-4 calls in the last week all not suitable due to him been able to crawl off, walk and basically not sit still..

not sure if i will go to the casting for CB tomorow...

sha11, yes i remember the mothercare thing! was what even more annoying was that i swear as soon as i had said she wasnt a very confident walker, she started running! oh well whats the cb casting?

Julie4travel, oh i think since it's so hot in Dubai right now it's not peak holiday season for them .. we had no problems getting sunloungers for the 6 of us :)
Yeah, shopping was fab .. open till midnight!! We went emirates mall and ibn battuta, even popped into monsoon and took a peek in their brochure just to have a look at dd2 in it!!
Oh, you can just tell that everything in Dubai is being built to high standards .. you and family will be sure to have a blast!!

Scarlett >> dd has been with bk since march she has been put forward for 2 jobs that they have told me about and also the one job that she has just done for chesington.

Julie good luck for your ds audition carole is lovely. Dd has been with cs management since April she loves it.

Izzi- have been replying to your email and its been bouncing back- has your email got a problem at all?

Strawb - my son was accepted by Carole and we instantly liked her and wanted to work with her. So we will give it a go and see, at least there is no money to lose!

Cyan - long story about TS appointment. basically we drove down for the appointment (missing the World cup game on Sat) and my hubbie had printed off the multimap to their head office instead of the studios. We arrive at the wrong place and there was not enough time to get to South london for the correct place. So we then went home. I couldn't believe it after waiting so long. Their next assesments aren't until Sept and photoshoot in Oct so think we will have to hold on till then unless we just go with Norrie carr as its a lot quicker and slightly cheaper on the fees. I felt bad dragging the kids to the wrong place in the heat. The lady at TS was very nice and lucky for me tranferred our assesment fee over. I am appreciative it was my hubbie who did the directions etc and not me as I would have been in trouble! Apparently all the kids who went to the appointment got took on. Think it was supposed to be 2 groups of 16. Nevermind hopefully all is not lost.

Julie 4 >> how old is your ds. I love cs management they are really lovely and its more personal as you can always ring her and shes happy to talk. DD loves the acting side of things as they make them feel a lot more involved.

Hi Strawb- My son is 5 and half (6 in July). I have emailed her some photos over so hopefully he will be put on the site soon although I haven't received the forms yet in the post or email. Did you subscribe to Spotlight aswell? I am umming and arghing on that. Which one is your little one (I will nose on the site if you let me know the page number etc) Did you use your own professional photos or pay for their shoot?

Book job will only on the 14th of July, so nice to have some notice when you have a newborn baby .
I decided that for the next few months we won't go to any castings, if she gets jobs without them great if not too bad, it's just too much of a hassle to take them both out for a 10 minutes' casting and then Cecilia doesn't get the job, does that sound too horrible?

How's everyone on the modelling front?

izzy, that's lots of notice! .. a good thing :)
about not going to castings for dd, it's only temporary .. if you don't fancy trekking around with a newborn that's v reasonable .. or weigh up the journey you would need to make, if you can get help etc ..

Julie >> dd is not on the site yet has not had photos done. I think Carole gets a photographer of there own to do the photos im not sure when they are going to be done.
