hi all :)
back from my hen week away with the girls .. went to jumeirah beach, dubai, and now trying to catch up!! It was oven sweltering hot over there, so i slapped on lots of factor 40 and only have a slight tan now :( It's so nice there :)

IZZY, congratulations on your little bundle of joy!! i knew i would return to hear your good news i will email u back :) good luck to dd for her book job too

cyan, i hope to make softplay and oriental city again too :)
.. i just have lots to catch up on, laundry, dd's schooling, housework etc .. i'm sure dh hasn't done a thing!!

cyan, the monster rat child has just had a wee, in her new pram!!!!! i trid soooo hard not to giggle

.. it was hard having to give the kids to others to look after, organise around schooling etc, but it was worth it!!!
5 star luxury (couldn't afford the 7 star!!) the beach was beautiful, full breakfast buffet, shopping till 12midnight was fantastic .. relaxing and sunbathing, seafood restaurant to treat the bride-to-be to her fav lobster .. we wanted to stay longer!!!!!

hahahaha at least she didnt poo in it and smear it everywhere like her boyfriend! oh yeah rosie survived, saw her yesterday and she seems grand!!

ooh thumbs you're so lucky sounds fab!!! how long did you go for? i should be going to vegas for my birthday in 6 weeks but cant book until next month when my friend has her work schedule

great to hear about everybody's castings and jobs too :)

we went for a week and time flew past so quickly!!
oh i haven't been to LV, should be fab!! dh went there the other week for the guys stag and stayed in the wynn and said it was amazing .. i think coz it's the newest hotel

the wynn hotel looks amazing, it was being finished when i was there 2 years ago. im not sure where will be staying as my friend will sort that out as she works for virgin and they sort out where crew stay. only costing me about £60 for flights and accomodation! just have to sort out spending money now!!

Cyan, you lucky thing! I love Vegas ,have been there 3 times last time was pre dd days (4 years? ago) The rooms (all suites) at The Venetian are fab too . Bet you can`t wait to go!!

cyan, you are so lucky your friend is doing that for you! my cousin is air stewardess for virgin long haul flights and she doesn't offer anything.
Bride-to-be sis also is air stewardess for virgin and we see her when she's back here in london in her red uniform when it's too far for her to drive back to cardiff!

i love vegas think its hilarious!!! i went when i was 5 months pregnant (we had booked it before i knew i was pg!!) and although i couldnt have a drink it was a great few days!

i am my friend's chief concession person, so i get to use her free flights allowance!!! she is always jetting off she was in LA the other day, off to Miami next week she has been all over.

oh that is fab to be the chief concessions person!! A friend and i thought about applying to virgin many yrs ago for the free flights, but i heard the 6 months training is quite gruelling. I can't swim at all anyway!
Two of my sis applied but got turned down as they were underweight!! lucky, as one works in scotland yard forensics now and the other has done well in finance/investments or something!

My thumbelinas- you lucky so and so. I was their in jan on an educational and we couldn't even get in the Jumeirah beach to look at it as it was full occupancy. We were at The Habtoor Grand on Jumeriah beach by the palm which was nice yet not same standard as yours. did you go to Emirates Mall and find it really strange seeing the Arabs who are normally in robes etc throwing snowballs at each other- totally bizaar!
I am going to go back (non work) with kiddies in the future 2009 when the Universal theme park is built. I think it will be superb. If its like Floridas parks we will have a blast. Plus my kids will be older then so I will be able to go on all the rides instead of sitting at the side with my daughter. I am getting withdrawel symptons!
