Hi

OP posts:
tigeryuan · 09/06/2006 11:31

hemart - MOT accepted my ds's application within a day! good luck to you!

hope you all have a lovely weekend!

cyan · 09/06/2006 11:53

hemart> MOT responded to us within a day or two. I'm assuming you sent the pics off to KL as they dont accept email applications, we sent pics to them over a weekend and had heard back by post a cpl of days later.

I think one thing that most of us on here will say to you is wait until you have heard back from everyone you have applied to before making your decision. Best of luck

sha11 · 09/06/2006 11:55

hi just want to know if any of you mums would accept the cilit bang commercial if it was offered to you or is it too cheesy?!? Smile

izzyrubi · 09/06/2006 12:20

Hi Tink
probably in the first 3 days of next week if we get it.

OP posts:
perfumelady · 09/06/2006 14:01

shall cilit bang is cheesy but then so are many other adverts, they are the ones we all remember, look at 118 118 and i said you buy one you get one free. commercials pay such good money and once your in the chances are something else could come out of it, personally i would go for it.

tinkerbellchelle · 09/06/2006 17:07

go for it sha11 :) let us know if you do we'll all keep an eye out for you

Good luck for LO's casting :)

We've heard nothing so Im guesing a no, but something else may come up :)

lanismum · 10/06/2006 18:41

thanks thorntons, i will!
cyan, no problems, the only good thing is iv discovered lani doesnt have her dads pale easily burned skin, shes a nice colour, just have to stop her getting any darker, getting her a factor 40 tomorrow!

mrratty · 10/06/2006 21:31

My eldest burns really easily, I discovered Soltan once and it's great as I do not need to top up as often as normal suncream. Dispite being out in the sun all day yeasterday she didn't get even slightly red.

strawberrymilkshake · 11/06/2006 10:58

Hi everyone

perfume the job for chesington was with bk not cs, but the voice over day was absolouty fantastic what a great day for lo all the kids there that day done really well.

Julie >> we havent been with cs for long but she has had 1 job for voice over work an audition for the bill, but unfortunatley they went for an older child and also has been put forward for commercial, the lady from the bill have said they think dd is great and are going to keep her in mind for something else which is nice.

Perfume >> did dd go for her audition.

Good luck to everyone with castings

strawberrymilkshake · 11/06/2006 11:06

Izzy >> i forgot to say congratulations to you and your family. congratulations you must be a very proud mummy and i love the name.

izzyrubi · 11/06/2006 21:39

thanks everyone for all the nice msgs :)

dd is doing a job for a book, so exciting Grin, not sure when that will be but still very exciting!

went out today with both kids for the first time, I'm starting to feel like a person again Grin hope everyone's enjoying the lovely weather!

lanismum · 11/06/2006 21:45

had a lovely day at the beach, but on our way home i forgot to change lani out of her swimming nappy, so she started screaming on the motorway because she was wet, we had to pull in at a travel lodge so i could change her, but she had soaked through to the car seat, so now have to figure out how to take that off to wash it.............

lanismum · 11/06/2006 21:48

oohhhh izzy, what book is it? do you know yet? bet you got stopped by loads of people cooing over little oliver Grin

lanismum · 11/06/2006 21:55

mrratty, thanks for the soltan tip, ill try that Smile

Scarlettsmummy · 11/06/2006 22:58

strawberrymilkshake > have you had any other work from bizzykidz or castings at all?

Scarlettsmummy · 11/06/2006 23:00

lanismum > soltan is excellent. My sister introduced me to it and I have stuck with it since. No burning ever (touch wood) and you don't need to keep putting it on all the time like the others

julie4travel · 11/06/2006 23:34

I swear by P20 for my kids. My son has fair skin and ginger hair so at least I know he is covered once the day when he goes to school in the morning. I would worry otherwise about him burning!

Strawb- thanks for feedback on cs, has your little one been with them long?

hunkermunker · 11/06/2006 23:35
