The photo's they've got are professional and they loved them when I took them in, but might try some different ones. Thanks for that!

She was with bizzykidz for 2yrs then Norrie Carr but then changed. Havent had nothing since, beginning to think Ive made a bit of a rick now Sad

YummyMummy >> some agencies don't require sole rep but unfortunately being with UA you can't go with any other agencies... there are very few agencies that don't require sole rep, really!

We moved to Norrie Carr because I wanted more photographic work and they wanted to contract us so I had to leave bizzykidz. My daughter was in 3 commercials so it was great but I was fed up with all the auditions and trapesing around London, especially when you dont know if youre going to get the job. I know that sounds silly because its all part of it, but I was pregnant at the time with my 2nd, so it wasnt that easy any more. Once we moved to Norrie Carr she got a couple of jobs but I didnt like them. There was nothing in particular that I can put my finger on, only that they were not as approachable as what I was used to, or the other agencies I had spoken to in the past. Then I met another mum at a shoot and she was with Bruce & Brown, so I moved.

sorry not been around too much lately been in the garden trying to sort it out at every spare oppurtunity i have had! riley has done a tv ad, and i some how ended up getting roped into being in it as well., which was rather funny, thats all really!!

mumsnetmummy >> I see your point, it's hard having to go to castings and auditions, at the moment we're not doing any castings unless they want to see both my kids, it may sound silly or whatever but my ds is only 2 weeks old and having to mission all the way to London with two kids including a newborn only for a small chance of getting a job isn't exactly nice. I'm sorry to hear your dd isn't doing well with B&B, I've only heard highly of them, most jobs my dd has done there were kids from B&B and I've met loooads of mums who are with them and are all happy, but I guess it could be like that with any agency, it's a matter of being with the right agency at the right time... I'm sure she'll get something soon, though... how long has she been with them now?

hello everyone, yack, soooo glad you are ok, believe me, its a good thing you didnt come to soft play with us, we will def sort out going again soon though.
had a great day yesterday, saw foo-fighters in hyde park, cyan and i lost our tempers with some football chanting eejits, and with girls sitting on their boyfriends shoulders, the lovely mr grohl put on a brilliant show, great day had by all. except for at the end when cyan stepped in some poo of the equine variety Grin.
izzy, did i read that right, both of your little ones have been put forward for a job?! the same 1? excellent!!!

Izzy > sorry only just read your message... Im not sure about bubblegum cos we did things a little backwards cos he had a casting before we joined. So the forms were just sent after the casting :) ( sorry not much help there )

Ahh... the party was brilliant it started at 2 and the final people went about midnight so I have to be honest I dont remember much towards the end. I just remember drinking stacks of champagne :)
How is your little bubba? Is he doing well?

Hope everyone else is well? Im good. Been at parents all day today for a bbq... Reece had a tumble and a mouth full of blood it was horrible but he luckily so far hasnt bruised so fingers crossed he might be lucky and get away without a bruise poor baby. He's one on the 1st of july so Im frantically tryin to plan his party now :)

We heard nothing back about the casting so guessing he wasnt what they wanted... oh well at least something came up and more might soon. I've got some much better pics of him so I might put it on CM.net :)
I think we might def be able to meet up with you all in a few weeks xx

that is actually a good idea izzy but it would limit you somewhat to only auditions that a client wants both ages? Good idea though.

what agency are you with?

lanismum >> I love mr ghrol and guess what? I've met them before, I know, I'm really proud of it so I don't care if people think I'm a snob!!! I met them in Brazil when I went to Rock In Rio, they're very nice guys, not snob like me Grin

Tink >> Ds has been accepted by them, still waiting to hear from mot and kl but we'll see... glad to hear about the party, everything sounds great, I won't go into details but while you were having champagne I was in a lot of pain (it rhymes!!!) Smile all worth it though, ds is an angel... sleeps through the night, really can't say one bad thing... it's just REALLY weird having a boy, but I'm loving it!
If you for some reason can't upload ds' pic to cm.net just send it to me and I'll do it for you!

mumsnetmummy >> ds isn't with any agencies yet but CK has he's photos and is putting him forward for jobs, it's a small agency so when I had him I told the owner and since dd is with them she took him under her wings as well... I want him to go with Kids London but haven't heard from them yet, we'll see how it goes! B&B said they really like him but asked to apply again when he's a month old, felt like a really pushy mum but don't care a lot tbh!!
DD is with Alphabet Kidz and Cheeky Kidz... and Inspired Kids but they're having trouble at the moment so not sure what's gonna happen!
Are you considering trying another agency again?

izzy im very Envy!!! iv met taylor the drummer in a club, but never dave, hes known as the nicest man in rock so not surprised he was lovely, i was a huuugggeee nirvana fan, and love the foos, so i think its very cool that you met him Grin

Izz > Am sure KL and MOT will snap him up - keep us posted! I have a friend who is with BG and her baby has done quite a few jobs, he did JOJO maman recently and got a voucher to spend in the catalogue which was a bonus!!! How is DD with getting on with her new playmate????

izzy - she has been with them since late jan this year. Its a long time now, nearly 5 months. I know your probably thinking maybe she's not pretty or something, but she had work before at Norrie Carr and Bizzykidz AND they accepted her and said she was beautiful.

The thing is, if the agency just arent getting the work for her, I can accept that, that's life, but I don't know what to do now. If I call Norrie Carr and Bizzykidz and ask to go back (with my tail between my legs lol) do you think they might tell me to get knotted?

i think its great izzy he will get tons of work because he is obviously gorgeous but also being so young, will be a great advantage, as many people do not think about getting there babies into it untill they are abiut 6 months onwards, my sister is due in sep and i keep joking with her that i am going to be waiting outside the deliver room, ready to take a photo to send to agencies, baby ..... 5 minutes old,, lol how funny,

we were declined by bizzykidz this month and went with bruce and brown. Then I called around to clients etc and asked who they use and bizzykidz came up most of the time, so you may be best to try and go back to them if they were good for you first time around. I am sure they will let you because if they were earning money from your working then they would be stupid to say no surely?
