How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

cupatea Grin

2 degrees, 2 DDs, no Prozac but the odd diazepam, no Boden, dark choc digestives live up from London.
So don't really fit either!

melika · 11/04/2013 20:18

I'm really old, late forties. No degree. Live 120 miles away from London. Have never took a tranq.( prefer a glass of dry white)!

No I don't fit.

Shakey1500 · 11/04/2013 20:21

Happy to add to the list...

43
Wales
No Prozac
No degree (except minus lots of them what with being in Wales and all...)

melika · 11/04/2013 20:24

But where's the link, can't find it?

GlaikitFizzog · 11/04/2013 20:27

Prozac is a brand name, fluoxetine is the proper name now

MyFace · 11/04/2013 20:30

fapl, I think we can blame this all on you, leave for the sake of MNers I beg you, you're showing us up Wink

olivertheoctopus · 11/04/2013 20:34

30's, have degree, not in London, no Prozac. What do you expect from the Daily Fail other than vitriol?!

Chockyeggpants · 11/04/2013 20:36

Chester.
SAHM.
1 DD
1 degree.
No pills.
Sweary and arsey.

thermalsinapril · 11/04/2013 20:44

Xenia, your comments about depression aren't helpful or accurate I'm afraid. It's perfectly possible for clinical depression to strike someone despite their fulfilling job and low G.I. diet.

pointythings · 11/04/2013 20:46

In East Anglia.
Degree
Not a Boden in sight.
Not at all bitter, ridiculously happy in fact.

Fabulous response, Justine.

coffeeinbed · 11/04/2013 20:55

Xenia, what are you on about?
Depression is an illness, bugger the fish and greens.
You sound like Tom Cruise and the vitamin pills for PND.

Seconds what marls said.

I really hope you never get depressed Xenia cos that ain't gonna work, if it was that fecking easy don't you think we would all know bout that and depression would be a thing of the past.

Id be laughing so much but my blood is boiling.

Must remember not to read your posts unrealistic.

Many many women seek money and power.....oh ffs.

Lucyellensmum95 · 11/04/2013 20:59

Xenia - you don't change do you, you are one of the most hilarious posters on here!

Nothing funny about belittling mental health illnesses to diet cures alone.

Shaky · 11/04/2013 21:14

I'll add to the list.

40

North Wales

Degree

No boden

Hell yes, to Prozac!

Finding MN and the fantastic support in the puddle literally saved my life when I was very ill with depression. I will be eternally grateful to these friends who have supported me through my darkest days, made me laugh, smile and basically helped me to go on living.

There are currently 6 people whom I have never met who are wearing jewellery I have made and sent out as gifts due to MN.

Elderwand · 11/04/2013 21:16

33
Degree
Live in North Nottinghamshire! Grin

Francagoestohollywood · 11/04/2013 21:18

I am 42.
I am Italian, but I lived in Devon for a long time.
1 degree, 1 master
2 children
I am way too cool to wear Boden
No Prozac, though it'd help to survive the long winter.

Lucyellensmum95 · 11/04/2013 21:18

I quite agree feelinggood, but having borne witness to many of xenia's posts over the years, i stopped taken them seriously a long time ago!

tumbletumble · 11/04/2013 21:20

I'm in my thirties, have a degree, lived in London until moving out to commuter belt a few years ago.

Never tried Prozac though....

Shaky · 11/04/2013 21:22

Xenia maybe I should try just eating a few more peas and a bit of broccoli.

I'm sure that would cure the awful depression that almost killed me.

LadyBeagleEyes · 11/04/2013 21:26

I'm 56, I live in the Highlands and I don't have a degree.
I live in an HA home, sometimes I'm on benefits, sometimes I'm not as I get work during the season doing various touristy jobs.
And I'm getting so sick of this, particularly from the likes of Shona Sibary, who I only recognise from the This Morning sofa.
Why the fuck has it come to it that Justine has to send an email to defend this website?
Oh and I'm on pills too, maybe it's because there's so many miserable people around that get media attention and seem to be there to bring women down Wink

Plomino · 11/04/2013 21:29

42 .
No academic degree but a Masters in detecting bandwagon jumping combined with agenda spotting . And a doctorate in sarcasm .

Work in London . Loathe it .Live over 100 miles away in beyond rural East Anglia . Only pills I've ever taken are vitamin C , and glucose tablets.

5 children . House full of mud and suppressed rage .

Boden ? Boden ? WTF is Boden ?

BCBG · 11/04/2013 21:29

Im 53, don't live in London, have two degrees and I don't pop Prozac. Nor do I waste my life reading the Daily Wail thank fuck Grin
