How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

Mumsnet is so vast it's silly to label us all in the same way.

I LIVED in London (but a bad part of sarf London so probably not what she had in mind...) but don't. I have a PhD, which I was very lucky to have the opportunities for me to get it (or go to university at all).

No pills either.

Oh, having found and read the article I'd like to amend: I don't like hobnobs. And own one boden long sleeved t-shirt that I found in a charity shop! I don't own an iron either. Nor do I pop prozac.

Should I be cast out from Mumsnet?

& if I was buying the best of everything that money could buy I doubt I'd be living in a house share with all of my possessions fitting into a couple of suitcases Hmm

Where is this thread about her that she bases her entire tirade about?

  1. N London. Degree. ADs.

You know what? MN at the moment has its quota of judgemental, opinionated, prejudiced members who are quick to slag off others. Maybe Shona should look around properly, she'd find she'd like it after all.

I can't stand Boden but I do love Hobnobs.

I did have a cauldron, funnily enough. Very small one. I kept my AD in it. Threw it away while I was decluttering. Keep them in a cupboard now.

I've got a degree and I like hobnobs.

It's all her opinion and she's as entitled to voice it as we are entitled to voice ours.

I did particularly like her attention to the way that we have an annoying habit of crossing stuff out! That REALLY winds her up!

Ridersofthestorm · 11/04/2013 10:51

Yep in my thirties yep got a degree, nope to living near London nope to to being on Prozac etc.

40's, degree, Midlands, grown-up children. No prozac or similar, and not feeling the need either.

I fucking loathe these meja types who float onto AIBU for 2 hours, decide the place is full of uptight bitches, then bugger off again. If they really need article fodder, couldn't they at least find out what MN is really about, because I just don't recognise it, or myself as a user, from the descriptions I read of it in the tabloids or hear of on the tv/radio.
