How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

WhoPaintedTheLion · 11/04/2013 10:30

Mumsnet is so vast it's silly to label us all in the same way.

MrsBucketxx · 11/04/2013 10:31

no degrees no pills either in the woo.

she is mistaken is she thinks we are all vile elitist witches,

the article was full of hate, you put yourself out there as a journo, or sleb. you should expect some criticism.

stargirl1701 · 11/04/2013 10:31

In my 30s, 2 degrees but I live in Scotland. No Prozac either Grin

BeebiesQueen · 11/04/2013 10:31

I'm in my 20s live in the south west (so not london) and dont have a degree

ScooseIsLooseOnTheLoopyJuice · 11/04/2013 10:32

30s that's about it though, I don't even own any boden!

scarredpierced · 11/04/2013 10:32

Shes the silly bitch whos slagging MN off in Daily Mail for telling the truth slagging off her appearancr.

OP posts:
BeebiesQueen · 11/04/2013 10:33

oh and I take lots of pills but no anti d's and I dont think my life is shit. my kids have greatly improved my quality of life!

bunnymother · 11/04/2013 10:33

I've got it! I think Shona might benefit from a visit to Hull to see Brian...

LagomOchLyckaSwede · 11/04/2013 10:36

I LIVED in London (but a bad part of sarf London so probably not what she had in mind...) but don't. I have a PhD, which I was very lucky to have the opportunities for me to get it (or go to university at all).

No pills either.

BeebiesQueen · 11/04/2013 10:37

bunny that just actually made me laugh out loud!

ConfusedPixie · 11/04/2013 10:37

Oh, having found and read the article I'd like to amend: I don't like hobnobs. And own one boden long sleeved t-shirt that I found in a charity shop! I don't own an iron either. Nor do I pop prozac.

Should I be cast out from Mumsnet?

& if I was buying the best of everything that money could buy I doubt I'd be living in a house share with all of my possessions fitting into a couple of suitcases Hmm

Where is this thread about her that she bases her entire tirade about?

Ineedmorepatience · 11/04/2013 10:37

No, degree, dont live in London and dont take pills.

Dont use apostrophes either because I CBA to remember where to put them Grin

2Old2BeABluePeterPresenter · 11/04/2013 10:38

33 (next week), 80 miles north of London, no pill popping here and happy with my DC :)

KitCat26 · 11/04/2013 10:38

Only just 30. Not in London. No degree and no pills.

2Old2BeABluePeterPresenter · 11/04/2013 10:38

Oops no degree either.

BeebiesQueen · 11/04/2013 10:39

I have 1 boden dress I bought 3 years ago. but I do like hobnobs

Does that mean I can stay? I dont match any of the other criteria!

landofsoapandglory · 11/04/2013 10:41

Here's the article (it is the DM unfortunately).

I'm none of the things that she listed.

milk · 11/04/2013 10:44

25, no degree, no London, no pills :)

olibeansmummy · 11/04/2013 10:47

Not me, I have a degree but am still in my 20s and live Oop Norf.

bonzo77 · 11/04/2013 10:48
  1. N London. Degree. ADs.

You know what? MN at the moment has its quota of judgemental, opinionated, prejudiced members who are quick to slag off others. Maybe Shona should look around properly, she'd find she'd like it after all.

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 11/04/2013 10:48

I can't stand Boden but I do love Hobnobs.

I did have a cauldron, funnily enough. Very small one. I kept my AD in it. Threw it away while I was decluttering. Keep them in a cupboard now.

almapudden · 11/04/2013 10:50

27, live in London, have a degree. No pills though and, perhaps more importantly, no children either!

YoullNeedATray · 11/04/2013 10:50

I've got a degree and I like hobnobs.

It's all her opinion and she's as entitled to voice it as we are entitled to voice ours.

I did particularly like her attention to the way that we have an annoying habit of crossing stuff out! That REALLY winds her up!

Ridersofthestorm · 11/04/2013 10:51

Yep in my thirties yep got a degree, nope to living near London nope to to being on Prozac etc.

AgathaF · 11/04/2013 10:52

40's, degree, Midlands, grown-up children. No prozac or similar, and not feeling the need either.

I fucking loathe these meja types who float onto AIBU for 2 hours, decide the place is full of uptight bitches, then bugger off again. If they really need article fodder, couldn't they at least find out what MN is really about, because I just don't recognise it, or myself as a user, from the descriptions I read of it in the tabloids or hear of on the tv/radio.
