How many of us actually meet Shona's little sidekicks criteria?
She states that all of us on Mumsnet are in our 30s, living in London and have a degree. How many people here meet that criteria?
How many are popping prozac depressed at the shit life we now have with kids?
Damn that woman is nasty!

BitBewildered · 11/04/2013 19:19

35, Londoner living in the NE, currently doing a degree, no prescription drugs.

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/04/2013 19:23

40s, out West, do have a degree, work FT, shop in topshop, never worn any Boden, no hobnobs.

I WANT HOBKNOBS

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/04/2013 19:24

Or maybe hobnobs. But love a knob around the hob too.

Arf

ISpyPlumPie · 11/04/2013 19:24

30s, degree - check. I am however very Northen. Still, to quote Meatloaf, two out of three aint bad. she's still speaking a load of shite in general though

JugglingFromHereToThere · 11/04/2013 19:25

So, I'm guessing the DM knows it's got no hope of keeping any readers who .... are graduates, live in the big smoke, frequent Mumsnet, think about life enough to be sometimes depressed by what they see !

So, going more for the un-informed country dweller who can be spoon-fed and never breast-fed their opinion in a handy tabloid is that about it ?

JugglingFromHereToThere · 11/04/2013 19:28

"no prescription drugs" Grin @ Bewildered

JustineMumsnet · 11/04/2013 19:31

@MmeLindor

Yes, Sparkling. Let's have Justine's mum on for a webchat.

Or let's not.

DamselWithADulcimer · 11/04/2013 19:32

40, nowhere near London, with doctorate, SAHM and v happy. Can't afford Boden due to school fees. Find MN a horrible, cliquey, bullying place and agree with Shona on that score (though disagree with everything else she says).

Flosshilde · 11/04/2013 19:35

30s, 2 degrees, sister lives in London, wouldn't be seen dead in Boden, was on Prozac for 9mo a few years ago (pre DCs). Currently breastfeeding and therefore intake of choccy biccies of all types is through the roof.

Orangerevel · 11/04/2013 19:35

ClaraOswald · 11/04/2013 19:39

Grin

Go on, bring her in.

dothraki · 11/04/2013 19:42

Too old for Uggs
Used to live in London - but managed to escape

Far too young to read the Daily Fail

mumofthemonsters808 · 11/04/2013 19:45

Shopping list today contained the item 'naice ham'

MrSlant · 11/04/2013 20:04

What is this 'ironing' everyone keeps talking about?

Feelingood · 11/04/2013 20:06

West Midlands (originally from up North)
Doing second degree now.

I didn't know who she was but I knows who regular posters are on here so go figure that then.

She used the word 'housewife'.

It's ironic she defended herself by retaliating in such a... err nasty manner about the site and certain posters. She has undermined any points about that thread by using her position to do same.

She acknowledges she is controversial then why doesn't she defend articles POV, that were being attacked on thread in the article today.

Did I detect a 'knew it was comming' in some of the phrasing in Jusitnes email.

Iggity · 11/04/2013 20:12

Sort of. Am in London with post-grad degree, in my 30s, minimal Boden as I can now spot it a mile away. I don't live in Muswell Hill and I work full-time. No pills but I probably could do with some. I post very little on Mumsnet but I do enjoy reading some of the funny threads rather than the ones where the OP is being pulled to pieces.

Feelingood · 11/04/2013 20:12

Oh I did have PND but I used self help strategies.

Can I stay?

Feelingood · 11/04/2013 20:13

That'd be the ironing services of us middlerclassers!

fapl · 11/04/2013 20:14

I live in London, in my mid thirties and have a degree Grin

But... WAAAAAH! I never get to drink steaming tea! The tea I end up drinking is, at best, lukewarm, usually tepid. I wanna be the mumsnetter that is being described that drinks steaming tea .
