izzy, no other babies at the Boots casting?!! That is weird, unless you went at a quiet time!!

tinker, how do you manage a sun tan in one day? Lucky you! i need days!! My dh and dd1 tan in half an hour!!

Cyan and lanismum >> no news yet but they said they'd let us know by tomorrow so fingers crossed... I didn't hear from them about Boden casting so I really hope they do contact me this time around!

thumbs >> I know, it was really odd but I talked to a friend who also went to the same casting and she said that when she went there were only other two kids so they probably kept numbers low but saw loads of kids through the day... I guess... oh well!

think its time top try another agency. suggestions on which to try? migth go for sole agency and retry CK.

I am a lucky one and tan really easily... all my family do but poor DP stays white bless him :)

Im mad and cooking a roast for some reason I really fancied one... even though its so hot.

Oh .. i've never had to get a Dr's note before. I have an appt with my Dr later this month so i will enquire, coz getting an appt is a nightmare!!

.. have found a pic of dd2 on monsoon website :)

misdee - which agency are you thinking of.. have you called the IK? anyone answered the phone yet.

i did email Dan the other day, he said he had put forward ds's info. to his contacts & clients. so, hopefully, sometimes will turn up soon!!

thumbs> i saw dd2 last night on monsoon! i was looking at accessorize website as need some jewellery, well i dont but i was nosing anyway! and then i had a look at monsoon and she was there! looks gorgeous as ever!!!

Hi all, will look on the Monsoon website now thumbs, what is she wearing??
Can anyone give me some advice on whats involved with a casting for an advert, have only done (one) photographic casting before and DS going to Tomy casting on Monday, so no idea what to expect!!!! All help gratefully received!! Anyone else going, would be nice to see someone, being from Yorkshire means unlikely to make a London meet!!!!

I think yackerty's going to tomy casting, i always expect a lot of waiting from castings and whatever else comes with it, you just never know really, they might want you to bounce your baby around or let him walk or do nothing, I'm sure you'll be fine anyway Smile good luck and let us know how you get on! Is your ds with Bruce & Brown? Sorry I can't remember!

Yes he is with Bruce and Brown, am very impressed with them!! Thanks Izzy for the kind thoughts - and good luck for Boots! DS is 6, so not sure what they want, I thought they only did up to toddler age toys?? Would be good to meet up with Yackerty - Yackerty, if you are there, what time are you casting???

oh yes, of course he's 6, sorry about that! My memory has disappeared since I got pregnant! Hmm I think 2ManyPimms might be able to tell you what a casting for a 6 year old should involve, her lo is also with B&B and he's doing well!

izzy - your right - if you let the dr'sote run out with BK they wont put you forward for any jobs.

wish i had tried IK today now of misdee got through - will have to wait till monday to arrangwe to go and see them.

just had a no from MOT - their loss. not heard nothing from B&B feel idiot sending them through for 3rd time - pushy mother. will set appt. for IK and see what happens at UAngels shoot. also sent to CK. longer im with BK longer i neeed to get away. whats the point of paying to update dr's note if nothings happening. ds never been to casting that cant be right after nearly 2 years. anyway moan over.
