izzy, have u heard from IK recently?

sha11, lani hasnt had any jobs so far either, just the way it is, she has had 2 castings, but no luck, but im no losing anything by keeping her on the books, and you never know, something might be just round the corner

It was a long day for the C4 ident filming... DS wasn't happy about his wig and kept saying that his "smile wasn't working". I think that he will be pleased with the end result though. Had a nose around the Big Brother house when the boys weren't filming. All in all, a pretty good day!

Thanks for your reassuring replies - It's good to hear that Alphabet Kidz are getting work. I've applied to several agencies already and have had quite a good response considering she's at that terrible two stage. I feel more inclined to go for a smaller agency as we might get more personal attention. It's a tough choice isn't it??

misdee >> heard from Dan last week to arrange new photo shooting this week but then he disappeared! No castings or jobs at all through them though.

WhatAPalava >> I agree with you but the top agencies aren't necessarily big agencies, you can't compare Kids London, Urban Angels, B&B and MOT with agencies like Scallywags, Rascals and Elisabeth Smith, those are the proper big ones as in they have many kids, the others are big ones as in top agencies!! I'm happy with Alphabet Kidz, had a few months with nothing from them but it seems to be picking up again now and Lisa is lovely! Anyway let us know how you get on :)

izzy - glad you mentioned that about IK. i e-mailed them back heard nothing. now have rang yesterday and left message still heard nothing - is this usual?

mysonsmummy >> not usual, they're normally really quick to answer and helpful, not sure what happened... will wait and see! It's not nice as I really wanted to take dd for the shooting before I have my baby but it's almost impossible now... oh well

Sorry if this sounds a stupid question but my DD is nearly 6 and has just started to lose her milk teeth. Do gappy kids still get jobs or are they unemployable until the missing tooth grows back? Thanks in advance for any answers.

my dd1 is 6 and has started losing her teeth too .. at the mo her two rabbit teeth are missing, but i think it looks v cute .. not got jobs tho.
I have been to shoots (for dd2) and there have been 6 yo who are gappy tho

yes they do look at some of the adverts on tv, they look cute

Hi everyone....well back from casting and there were babies & kids from Alphabetkidz, B&B, Urban, Truly Scrumptious and KL. No idea how many they need but will find out tomorrow...so fingers crossed! Is any one going to TOMY casting monday????

2ManyPimms when did your son join B&B? My daughter joined 2 weeks ago but I was told the model book shoot would not be until October!
The first time I applied over a year ago I got a response in about 8 weeks this time less than 1 hour!

Did you find out anymore re Junior pic? Yes the girls are right ,not published very month. DD was in Junior Pregnancy and Baby-pic taken in May,was in Sep/Oct issue. As mag was sealed in newsagents I emailed the magazine to confirm she was in it and they replied very quickly.

mysonmommy I appled mid-april via e-mail and got a reply within an hour. I would keep perservering. When I applied over a year ago they took about 2 months to get back that was also with interest to representing my daughter.
