BellaTata - you can say "prima di venire qui" - before coming here. I always used to use "prima" with "di+infinitive", it's the easiest way!

How do i pronounce 'venire?' I have my first lesson on Monday so will hopefully pick it up quickly, the bits I know now are from working here.

venire - ven-eee-reh

The stress usually falls on the syllable before last, unless there is an accent on the final syllable, and you pronounce every letter in Italian.

io too have just put the youngest ragazze to dorme. Mamma e papa are in Parigi per il weekend so the eldest ragazza (12) e io are having pizza e popcorn dopo she has finito il pianoforte.
