ooooh congratulations! Oh how exciting! There must be something in the air, I even dreamed that mio nipoto was pregnant and he's not even 2 years old yet! He was growing an exact replica of himself in his tummy it was scary to me but everyone else in my dream was all 'that's just how toddlers reproduce, silly'! Am really broody and my 47 year old neighbour has even just had her first (prob only) baby :( so can I really be too old? But if I did have one, who would look after it while I look for apartamentini in scary cities? And do rude things there?

What do you use as filling?

It takes too much time, Mamma dissi iu sugnu pigra, iddu l'avutri pi tutti mi fratelli, e mi papa, e mi nonna, e the next door neighbour's auntie's cat, e metta di niscun! (I am not sure how to write that... I should be ashamed of myself)

Actually, chi'e inventare, perque quannu giovani, iu fu la pasta quannu nun travagghiu.

it's an effort if you're not in the mood isn't it? Plus I happily eat the cheapest dry pasta and never buy the posh stuff unless want a special shape or need fresh then I think it's cheaper to make it (when eggs are free). Machine is broken though so last time had to use a wine bottle!

Don't know about spicy fillings, last time roasted butternut squash but peeling and chopping that is worse than making pasta (sono troppo pigra) was thinking of making some red pesto with extra chili flakes and maybe chicken? Dunno, not really feeling it yet! Any ideas? What are you having for Christmas?
