In Expats own words last night

"Keep it coming, folks. She NEEDS this miracle*.

There is indeed power in our prayers and hopes and love.....and especially the amount of us lighting candles and taking time to just think about them. On my own part, pretty much everyone I know knows about our prayers for Aillidh....so many people thinking of her.

I pray today for continued strength for Expat, continued love for Aillidh, and continued hugs for Giraffes, who is there with them walking this tightrope and being a true angel.

I'm sorry, I have no words. I cannot begin to imagine what you all must be going through. My candle is lit and I am thinking of you all.

DS (9) asked me tonight if Aillidh could be his girlfriend.

My thoughts are with the family tonight. It's truly heartbreaking.

So, so sorry to hear the latest update. Whatever tonight brings I hope little Aillidh is at peace.

I've cried so much this week over a child I have never met as, I suspect, have many others. This wonderful child has touched so many, I hope we don't forget the lessons we have learnt.

I have no religion but I hope and wish for peace for expat and all her family.

Expat my love - there are no words. I just want to hug you. No parent should have to go through this.

Psycho - you last post was amazing. I too only know Expat from here. I think we have both been around for around the same time. I know her as outspoken, courageous and wise. My heart breaks for her.

Aillidh - darling girl. You are amazing. If you cannot fight any longer then please know that we will be here to try our best to support and comfort your heartbroken mummy and daddy. I am praying very hard for you lovey. You are amazing.

So sad at tonight's turn of events - Aillidh has touched the hearts of many and my thoughts and prayers are with her, her Mum and Dad, brother and sister and, of course, their family and friends.
